Materials absorbing emf?

sake
Hi

Wonder what absorbs or redirects emf, both magnetic and Electric and RF and maybe everything else esmog. What materials and thickness are applicable for every different situation?

According to the physicist Dr. Yuri Kronn, no material shields you from EMRs EXCEPT for a Faraday Cage around your body, room, that is EARTHED.

He smiles when he sees claims that this or that material will 'absorb' EMRs.

He said physics today knows of no such material yet.

Ok, but what can reflect or shield against emf then? What materials works and what thickness are needed with different emf and different frequencies?

Oh, I thought you wanted to do a BODY protection...

In fact you are looking for a room protection?

The situation is totally different...

I'm not really knowledgeable, but I see what happens to smartphones compared to old phones (the non-smart phones).

Old cell phones could be shielded with ONE layer of THIN aluminum made into Faraday (closed at the edges) before the advent of smart phones.

If I tried to call that old cell phone, it did not ring.

I haven't still found a smart phone that does not ring with that same Faraday cage done with thin alu I used to do.

I tried thick alu, one layer, it did not work: the phone rings if I call it.

I think I stopped after 3 layers of thicker aluminium.... Still rang...

So I guess, some smart phones today will never be shielded by a thin Faraday cage either.

People here say they work also through scalar/ longitudinal waves: I guess, normal materials cannot shield scalar waves, as if I remember well, scalar waves can even cross the planet...

I guess you have to aim at certain culprit types of ESmog, and go chase them, but I wonder if it is possible to shield against all types of ESmog....

Hello
We first need to differentiate between High Frequency and low frequency EMF.
In high frequency most electric conductive material will reflect the EMF electric field.
Most Water containing bodies (like trees, earth, human body) will absorb EMF electric field.
as the frequency goes higher the effect is higher.
As the frequency goes lower the effect is less and less.
Creating clothes from High frequency EMF (RF) reflecting materials is possible, but the effect will never be 100%, even if the fabric it self allow close to 100% blocking effect. This is because some of the ELF will make it's way from the opening in the clothes or hats.
In low frequency some special metal material can reflect the ELF magnetic field in 90 degrees. These are usually used in cases of ELF magnetic field emission from electric cabinets.
A full Faraday cage is usually impossible to create.
