Hi, all. I'm really sick & can't go on WiFi anymore, even tho that's my only available means of going onine. Anyway, the person who's letting me stay w/ him is getting a hearing aid & I'm worried about it. I react very badly to cell phones & have to have them turned off if people have them on around me. I'm wondering how this hearing aid would compare to a cell phone & if anyone else has experience w/ them??? It's called the MD Hearing Aid (for some reason they put it as all 1 word: MDHearingAid). They're a Chicago-based company & the pamphlet says sthg. about use of radio waves in the device, which costs about $200 & is supposed to be the best, most affordable hearing aid out there). I'm too sick to research this myself; any info would be appreciated.

HI Elysia, I knew someone with that kind of hearing aid, or similiar. They said it made them dizzy, there is some kind of directional antenna in the hearing aid....and everytime they turned around, they heard a whizz sound in the hearing aid, as the directional antennas moved? Not sure. This person also ended up with a bump on the cheekbone, near the ear, with the hearing aid. They switched back to an analog hearing aid. I don't know if the field put out will bother you. I hope it doesn't. Hugs,Lizzie To: [hidden email] From: [hidden email] Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2012 15:44:09 -0700 Subject: [eSens] MDHearingAid... Hi, all. Forgot to ask if anyone knows about the RANGE & POWER of these hearing aids that have directional antennae? I'm wondering how it compares in range & power to that of a cell phone. I'm hoping it's at least less poewrful, smaller range than a cell phone so I don't have to ask him to turn the thing off at nite. I'm really bothered the nights that his roommate is here, even tho I'm several meters away, b/c the guy uses a BlueTooth & keeps it on all nite, so if the hearing aid is like a cell phone then I'll have radiation on both sides, too close to me. Thought about calilng the company but they always lie @ the data.
Thanks :) Love & blessings, Elysia ________________________________ From: Elysia Drew <[hidden email]> To: "[hidden email]" <[hidden email]> Sent: Saturday, October 27, 2012 3:27 PM Subject: Re: [eSens] MDHearingAid... MIGHT BE A BLUETOOTH TYPE THAT CAN SYNC INTO PHONES ETC FOR LISTENING ? IT
MAY ONLY BE ACTIVATED IF IT IS ON LINK UP MODE SO IT MAY BE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, THAT SAID i would not want to wear one if it was on all the time inthat mode, check out the manufacturers data as soon as you can or post the model number here puk In a message dated 27/10/2012 20:48:18 GMT Daylight Time, [hidden email] writes: Anyone else have info on this? Yes the hearing aid can be turned off, but then it won't work. And the battery can be removed, as far as I know. But again, it won't help the person hear, if its off. Puk, my head is really hurting. I can't hunt all this info down. I'm on a CAT5 cable at this coffe shop, but the WiFi router everyone else is using is still burning me. Maybe you can find out what it does if I put the link to the website?: http://www.mdhearingaid.com/ Looks like there's only 2 models but I can't really go from there. Need to get off computer. If you're able to find anything out, please let me know. I don't see why it would work like a BlueTooth, but I think the pamphlet said sthg. about it using radio technology, so that's why I'm worried.

Elysia,Most people tend to take their hearing aides OUT at night. Like people do with dentures. if it emitted emf similar to a cell phone,
everyone who uses one would have cancer. my friend hates the digital hearing aids and insists on the analog. why not wait for it to arrive and simply see what it does, and avoid worry until you can do a reality check. worry beforehand is wasted energy - unless you invest it in a reali investigation - of the company, of others who use the product... but just to "what if" is spinning wheels. :) save your precious life force... love, patricia On Oct 27, 2012, at 1:35 PM, Elysia Drew wrote: > Forgot to ask if anyone knows about the RANGE & POWER of these hearing aids that have directional antennae? I notice the same between analog and digital signals too. Digital is
somehow more damaging even at much lower strength. Wave-wise, it's sharp like this: _|~|_|~|_ while analog is wavy. As for hearing aids and everything else, if you're ES, avoid anything that communicate signals wirelessly. kb Auntie Patricia wrote thus at 08:16 AM 28-10-12: >if it emitted emf similar to a cell phone, >everyone who uses one would have cancer. >my friend hates the digital hearing aids >and insists on the analog. >why not wait for it to arrive and simply see >what it does, and avoid worry until you can >do a reality check. worry beforehand is >wasted energy - unless you invest it in a >reali investigation - of the company, of >others who use the product... but just to >"what if" is spinning wheels. :) >save your precious life force... >love, patricia |
