Led TV vs. Lcd TV

steve
Hey everyone,
Does anyone have experience with these type of TVs. Mom other needs a new TV and I'm trying to decide between a Vizio LED and a Samsung LCD.
Thanks

It's not on your list, but my Panasonic LCD HDTV is good.

Is it a recent model? She's looking for a 26 inch with front firing speakers.

It's a couple years old... I know that Panasonic did make a 26" model
at that time, I don't know about now. Mine is a 37" model.

I wonder if this is as much an issue with TVs since we are sitting some feet away from it?

It may be not as much of an issue, but it can still potentially be a big
issue. I remember the days when I was much worse than I am now, and I
had to be about 15 feet away from a TV to stop noticing adverse effects.

Then perhaps the Samsung would be the better bet. I am only there one nighta week but I don't want it to affect her either.

Hey Marc!

I'm sitting 15 feet away from my LCD tv but it is a 60 incher so I guess I'm a gluten for punishment. Stills burns my face but I'm ordering the Quantum so I'm hoping that it will diminish! I'm sitting so far back from the tv I am near the fridge now so that could be a culprit also. GEEZ!

Which "the Quantum" are you ordering? I'd recommend one of the power conditioners (although offgassing
is apparently a problem with these) and a Quantum Home or Pro plugged into whatever is bothering you
the most (TV? fridge? window where you can see the cellphone towers?). Right now I've got a Quantum
Pro sitting underneath my DSL modem. :-)

Hi Marc!

You and Diane recommended the Quantum Pro so I will order that one. I don'tthink Diane liked the Quantum companion. But I think you like them both.

Do I need the power conditioner to make things work together?  Offgasing would be a problem but if I put it outside for a couple of weeks I wonder if that would work?;

The Quantum Pro is the strongest, and has the most likely chance of
working. Although if you find it to be too strong (causing detox or
other discomfort) even at the lowest power setting, you may have
to put it on an on/off timer until you get used to it.

The Quantum Companion is very weak, but has the advantage of
being portable (and less likely to cause any detox).

I find the power conditioner to be a helpful addition. Just plug the nasty
electronics into it. I don't know how bad the offgassing problem is,
as the power conditioners I bought years ago didn't have that problem.
And I think maybe that the current 3-outlet versions don't have
that problem either, so you may just want to get those (and avoid
the ones with more outlets).

I don't think you will need multiple Quantum Pros in a single house.

Loni,
It depends on how sensitive you are. I tried that and still had issues so Ireturned them. They are very low end conditioners so they use very cheap plastic. (I didn't have an issue with the 3 prong outlet plastic smell wise, there was perfume on it for some odd reason and that was my problem with that one).

RE: Quantum

Loni Rosser
I'm pretty darn sensitive. I mean I can't sleep in my house. Haven't slept in a bed for 4 years now. Chemicals as well as electrical.

So I'm wondering Marc & Steve; Do I really need the conditioners for the quantum pro to work for me?

Keep in mind I do have the stetzers plugged in also?!

To be honest marc knows more about this stuff than I do.
As for the Quantum conditioners make sure only to order the 3 outlet surge if you are going to and also tell Margi to make sure no perfume comes in contact with the products or the packaging.
