Hi Ester ... there's a no nonsense straight up (cosmic) 2MIN News daily update giving generalised alerts on flares and such that's well worth the time it takes to watch. You can see it each day shared on my facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/loraine.connon or follow it yourself on YouTube http://www.youtube.co/watch?v=JJWKSNGupe4&feature=share The sun is set continue testing and tempering our (inner and outer) metal well into 2013, understanding that our very being and feelings are the product of the sun variance becomes essential to survival from now on I think. Hi,
Esther LeSieur wrote: > I'm interested knowing when the solar flares are happening. How do > you find out? I load three thumbnail graphs each day. http://www.n3kl.org/sun/images/status.gif? http://www.n3kl.org/sun/images/kpstatus.gif? http://www.n3kl.org/sun/images/noaa_kp_3d_half.gif? Thus getting a quick summary of the current X-ray activity (1st graph in next paragraph below), the Geomagnetic field activity (3rd graph below), and the three day review of the Kp values (see 3rd graph). > I can't make sense of the graphs. It does take some study to learn. :-) When looking at http://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/summary_plot_extmag.png The 1st and 2nd charts are X-ray magnitude, and then proton count. When the lines jump up, then there is activity reaching Earth. Looking closer at the 2nd graph, when the multi-colored proton counts appear, then the energy levels are up, there is a legend on the left showing Mev, or mega electron volts. The 3rd graph includes a color box showing Kp values, (a Summary of activity), one for each 3 hour period. Green is quiet, yellow, orange, and red are moderate to strong activity for the line in the graph, showing magnetic disturbance. When those start jumping up and down, then the storms, auroras, and pain levels for some of us are likely to be up. The 4th graph shows solar wind speed in km/sec, overlaying a solar picture. Here you can see exactly when the solar shock hits Earth, in GMT (Grenich,England Time Zone) The bottom two graphs show magnetic flux lines, but my connection is slow enough I rarely see them. Their server timeout is set too low. > If there's a site > where it's posted (in words), would you share it? Sure, http://www.solen.info/solar/ > If not, would you > be willing to post updates to the group? No. I'm not doing well enough for that, and I don't think posting solar activity is completely appropriate to this group. Stewart http://seahorseCorral.org |

A Beacon 10 times per second is WiFi. 5 times per second I've heard coming from automobile equipped WiFi. Most computer to computer WLAN signals work without beacons, so is the pulsing regular like a beacon, or intermittent like a data packet? Is the pulse happening 24/7? Who is on the other side of that hotter wall? I'll guess a neighbor with a new toy. > Could it be Wi-Fi (there are 5 accounts in the building) or Satellite TV (there are 6 dishes on the building)? > Satellite signals are between 17 and 30 GHz, so are above the range of all meters. The receivers however can be providing wireless internet connectivity, usually by WiFi. That would have to be a beacon. > Maybe it is one of the many repeater disks that are on the roof of the apartment building two blocks away that could have stepped up to 4 GHz. > I've not heard of anything but radar using 4Ghz. There are wireless internet devices down around 3.6 GHz. > Anybody know what generally causes microwave pulsing signals besides Smart Meters? > > Besides those already mentioned, there are also: When a cell phone is attempting to contact a far-away tower, there are 5 strong pulses, at 2 per second. Something not seen in urban areas. If the pulse is once per 15 seconds, then it is a radar sweep. I've measured those at ranges up to 50 miles. If the pulse is short in duration, then it is a newer and faster communication frequency. If it does not resemble those already recorded and put on my web page, could you record to a small WAV file and send it? Stewart http://seahorseCorral.org/ehs1.html |

OMG, the vortices have been really active.

But I would like to mention one thing, Someone mentioned, and it does make a lot of sense, that if EMF's from a Solar Flare disrupt Radio or Cell Tower signals, the Telephone and/or Radio Companies affected may in turn boost their signal strength and if you are in the path of those boosted Micowave signals, you could be reacting to the human induced Radiation and not the Nature induced Radiation from Solar Flare activity. I do not know anything about if Companies boost signal strength or if they are allowed to. I am tempted to call and ask them. But, that scenario sounds like the more likely cause of my pain than the unlikely occurence of being directly affected by Solar Flare radiation on the ground. I know that Astronauts and people flying at high Altitude are highly susceptible to being exposed to harmful Radiation from Solar Flares, but the Earth's Magnetic Field is supposed to shield people on the ground from harmful Exposure. Although some radiation does leak through the poles and causes the Aurora Borealis, I bet some of the harmful Radiation does get dispersed around the inner atmosphere. I will see what I can find out about that. But, in the meantime, if anyone is planning on taking any Airplane flights, I suggest you check the Solar Flare Weather Forecast first. Or else wear a Radiation suit, just in case. C. Thanks to all of you for sending links and information. Plenty to
discover, learn about, think about, and process. Whew! What an amazing group this is!
