Hi, I am considering taking a cruise. My sister has a ticket and is havingsome medical
problems and I'd love to take her place on a family adventure. Has anyone tried such a thing? How do the ship's electrical and radio frequencies effect EMF sensitivities? I have been having fewer symptoms in recent months and am inclined to try it, but I still haveproblems if I'm overloaded. It's a pretty big ship. Experience, opinions? I'll take any and all feedback. Thanks so much, Mariann |

The worst areas for me were the casinos, which had these huge CRTs on some of the games. The shopping areas had florescent lights as well, but for the most part, the ship was okay. I brought my Quantum Pro with me, but it turns out that it was an Italian cruise liner that was running off 220 volts, and they didn't have usable outlets for the passengers anyway (other than a too-weak shaver outlet) Marc |

I am very curious too about what you find. I was just offered to take a
cruise and have decided against it because of my fear of being trapped on a ship with the radar and WiFi buzzing in my head 24-7. Let me know... The cruise I was on had a little Internet access room with LCD monitors, but for the most part people didn't bring their computers with them, and the ship wasn't setup for Internet access. I didn't notice any radar, but I suspect I'm not sensitive to that. "Sun sensitivity" -- that's what you should be concerned about when on a cruise! :-) Marc |

My wife and I are both vegetarian, so our biggest problem with the cruise was finding something to eat! On a cruise ship, "vegetarian" means that it only has one kind of meat in it... :-) (and of course, none of the food on a cruise ship is particularly healthy, if you're into eating healthy food) Of course, every day you're visiting a new port, so you can usually find something decent to eat in the city.
