Introspect Oberon

johnottawa80
Hi all,
In order to get well from eSens, I've been looking into different ways of finding the underlying cause of my symptoms.
There are lots of 'machines' out there which gives different kinds of 'diagnosis'.
I was wondering whether anybody has tried 'Introspect Oberon'?
If so, did the results/'diagnosis' make sense?
Any experiences welcome.
Charles, are you familiar with this 'machine'?

Thanks,
John O.

Hello,

as far as I can see in their website, it is a Scio machine, some sort of
energetic system, more like a Radionics sytem.

In my opinion, a real Rife treatment machine is much better, like a contact
machine like the F-Scan.

There is also the *poor man's rife*.
You can downlaod the NCH tone generator.
Make a square wave of 657 Hz, for f.i. 6 minutes.
Save this as a WAV file and play it on your computer.
Or burn an audio CD together with other frequencies from the known CAFL
lists.

It helps.

RE: Introspect Oberon- Warning

Ian Kemp
In reply to this post by charles-4
I do not know if the Introspect Oberon machine is the same as the "Oberon"
diagnostic machine, but I suspect that it is. If so I should warn everyone
considering using it that the Oberon actually triggered my wife Sue's
electrosensitivity in 2004. We had never heard of ES before this, we went
to a practitioner who used it to diagnose metabolic problems (it flagged up
liver and pancreas as having severe problems - the former certainly correct,
see some of my previous posts). However the machine transmitted a 3 GHz
signal (microwave frequency range) using earphones for about 10 minutes.
About an hour after we left the clinic Sue said that she was getting rapidly
increasing tinnitus, and it very soon became apparent that this was
seriously aggravated by most types of electric and magnetic field and
microwave signals (mobile phones etc). The problem rapidly got worse and we
have only made real progress in the last 2-3 years by tackling the
underlying problems in her immune system (found by biochemical testing).

So my advice to anyone contemplating using an Oberon-type machine is, DON'T!
Or at least be absolutely sure that it is working on different principles to
the one used on us. The practitioner told us that it had been developed in
the Urals for use on Russian cosmonauts. Of course, by definition, they are
extremely healthy people, and Russia has not been noted for taking great
consideration of health and safety risks in its industries.

Also at that time the information from websites about the operation of
Oberon machines was very poor - the underlying science quoted was a mishmash
of misused physics terms. This does not necessarily mean that the machine
does not work, only that - as for some other ES "cures" - the marketing
people have felt obliged to try to offer some kind of "scientific
explanation" even if they don't really understand how the machine works :-)

Re: Introspect Oberon- Warning

Hi Ian!
Thanks for the warning, but it came a bit late, as I've already done the test. It probably was the same machine as Sue used, as I had the earphones onas you describe.
Luckily the machine didn't increase my ES symptoms. It didn't find out whatwas causing my ES symptoms either.

By the way, would you be interested in telling a bit more about the biochemical testing Sue has done, and what underlying problems in her immune system the tests have discovered?
(Perhaps you've done this in earlier posts?)

John.

Re: Introspect Oberon- Warning / Biochemical tests

Ian Kemp
Hi John,

Glad to hear the Oberon didn't make things worse. I guess if you already
have ES, it won't give it to you - although it might make you susceptible to
a wider range of frequencies. Sue started off with ES and had problems with
fluorescent lights and cordless/mobile phones almost immediately, then a
couple of months later developed problems with light and sun sensitivity
(particularly yellow end of the spectrum) after exposure to bright low
winter sun. The light sensitivity now gives her more problems than the ES,
though both have improved.

As for biochemical tests - she seems to have had everything under the sun!
A lot of them came back negative, but a few key pointers came up which have
been helpful in treatment. In particular, she was very low in glutathione
and sulphate, and her liver metabolism for these seemed to be faulty - a
more recent test has shown this to be genetic. Hence, regular intravenous
infusions of glutathione and magnesium sulphate have been a key factor in
her recovery. Basically her immune system had gradually broken down under
the strain of trying to cope with only 1 or 2 functioning pathways out of 4
- the last straw was firstly treatment with an SSRI antidepressant, which
she couldn't metabolise, and then having her mercury fillings removed which
gave an extra dose for her body to copy with. Her mercury levels have now
come down to undetectable. Other factors apparently involved have been
leaky gut and a cavitation where a wisdom tooth had been extracted. As you
suspected, there is lots more detail in our previous posts over the last 3
years or so.

Sue is certainly not fully recovered - in recent months she has been getting
an increasing level of numbness. The latest thing we are trying is
phosphatidyl choline, which is part of a larger programme intended to try to
help repair the myelin (nerve covering) as demyelination is one of the major
suspects for ES and light/noise sensitivity. I like to think of it like
stripping an electric wire of its insulation so that it short-circuits, but
this is probably an inaccurate portrayal :-)
