hello all,
![]() I've been in the city for a week. Today my sensitivity kicked off major. my question is what triggers a emf person into increased sensitivty.?? my thoughts about the cause Overexposure.. yes. Lack of sleep, woke up 4 am a couple of nights. could not go back to sleep. did not have a ordinary breakfast today. just a carrot and a coffee before i went to city centrum. in the restaurant today there was something bothering me. did not feel like microwaves. something else. powercabel ? i dont know.. i just needed to connect with you guys.. because the people around me, dont understand crazy me, have a nice weekend |
i have the same when I 'go to town'.
i always want to get out of there asap. i suspect there are cell towers, big EMF underground with all the elec wiring, wifi everywhere... EVERYWHERE. i leave asap. a restaurant will have mega electric appliances. i was in a hotel once and couldn't sleep... when i went to the desk at 2am to ask for help, they explained my room was directly over a big refrigeration area for the hotel restaurant. and they were kind enough to move me to a very remote room. pshew. and they will often have florescent lights... patrons will be using their cell phones, etc. this is not an easy civilization to navigate. rather than nuclear holocaust, they made it so we can nuke ourselves 24/7. love, patricia On Dec 5, 2014, at 1:13 PM, Hawk [via ES] wrote: > hello all, > > I've been in the city for a week. I have problems being in cities and try to get in and out ASAP. When I go on vacation and have to stay in a hotel, I request a room which is known for the worst wifi reception - (upon check-in the clerk may tell you that they do not know of such a room - but keep asking because other clerks often do know). I have RF/gauss meters and check out various rooms before acceptance. Then I bring a roll of Reflectix from Lowes (bubble wrap with double-sided foil face 4' x 25') and place it under the bed mattress, stand it up around all sides of the bed, and put some over half of the top and then use a breathable, transparent microwave-blocking fabric over the other half. It sounds extreme, but it's the only way I can survive all the EMF in hotels or some homes of friends and family. If I wasn't able to do this "shielding" I wouldn't be able to travel.
Most restaurants are a big problem because when sitting still the EMF bothers me more than when in motion. Many restaurants have huge magnetic fields, Wifi, and fluorescent or CFL bulbs often dangling near the head from pendant lighting. My skin turns red and feels like it's on fire when exposed to those. I'm so sorry to hear that you've been affected, Hawk. Hope you are able to recuperate quickly. |
Thanks for the reply Patricia and FogTop.
Yes hopefully i will recuperate quickly as i get back to the woods :) Do you feel coofee make you more sensitive ? Fog Top .. are you screening the madrass because of the metals inside ? with metal foil. did not get this one.please help me understand. you did not mean to put it around the whole bed area like a faraday cage? How do you travel ? i havent been flying since 2012 when something happened. worse 5 hours of emf in my life. should get one of those meters. or just stay away from tech...---- think i found the answer :) hope you guys are well. |
Hello Hawk - I put the foil under the mattress to shield from RF coming from under the bed as usually the hotel room is on an upper floor where RF enters from rooms below.
It is somewhat of a Faraday cage which is created, and by measuring with meters I make sure that all is well within the cage and that the EMF has not been amplified which can sometimes happen when trying to shield with metals. Some hotels have a whole wing where the magnetic field is over 6 milligauss -horrid stuff- while another section will be a low .1 mG. There's not much a person can do to reduce that field, so it's best not to sleep there. I travel by car and bring the Reflectix roll: http://www.lowes.com/pd_13358-56291-BP48025_0__?productId=3011906 Have flown once since being affected by EMF and brought Mylar space blankets for shielding. It's flimsy and cannot standup on its own like Reflectix. The airline did not have wifi - probably the only one in the US now. It did not feel good probably from the EMF of the engines and electronics, but it was a very quick flight. Airports are horrid for EMF, and I would never go through one of those body scanners. So I opt out and some TSA agents try to make it as humiliating an experience as possible. I could rant on about that... Coffee does makes me feel edgy, so I try to limit to a cup in the morning and use organic beans as most coffees and teas are heavily sprayed. That 'edgy' feeling is similar to the hyper feeling from EMF. I would recommend that every ES person has RF and gauss meters. They've saved me from a world of hurt. emf from below . I see ..Thanks for the explanation :)
Yes i guess meters would be great. think i am too used to emf, but this time.... I've had enough. |

I would say any exposure to wifi or cellphones is the worst triggers for me. It was having wifi and being around it that sent me downhill fast. It was cellphones back in the eighties that really set off my problem w/ TIA headaches/mini strokes.
