Yes, use a voltmeter and compare:
Shower or faucet to drain
Shower of faucet to electrical ground
Shower or faucet to ground rod in the soil outside.
I lived in a house once that had so much voltage on the water pipes that
when showering, if you touched the shower head and the metal drain at the
same time, you could feel the current flow through your body.
