I think I have developed EHS

mirko
Hi, I'm new here and I think I may have developed Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity.

A few years ago I began to have symptoms just going about my day to day activities.
I work from home and spend about 10-14 hours on the computer daily.
The symptoms included severe anxiety and panic attacks, breathing problems, tight chest, headaches, waking up at odd times at night with pins and needles in arms and legs, mental confusion, slurred speech and mild hallucinations.
I would go to the doctor and he would give me beta blockers, antidepressants, diazepam and the like but instead of taking the pills I just decided to cut out my bad habits(drinking and smoking) and eat healthier.
Instead of getting better , I slowly began to get worse.
Eventually I called family for help and moved to a family home for support, some of the symptoms got less for a while but I would get extreme anxiety especially when driving between my home and family home.

After about 6 months I was not getting any better and a friend called me to ask advice about buying an rf meter to check a new property they were buying.
I remembered I had bought an rf meter several years ago, so i decided to check my own home and discovered high levels of microwave radiation from the wifi router I had been sitting about 1 meter from.
When I had received the wifi router as always it gets plugged into ethernet and wifi disabled but with this router even though you disable the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi bands unless you also put it into cable modem mode it still transmits a wifi signal for the DHCP and tv box.
To top it off I found there was also high levels of microwave radiation coming from 2 neighbours , they have smart tv's dect phones, wifi, smart meters and from outside there is a phone mast about 1/4 mile away with 4 phone masts and a tetra mast used by the police and ambulance service.

I checked my family home also and found that even though I had disabled the wifi on their router a long time ago there was high microwave radiations levels still, upon further investigation it seems that the broadband provider they use by default operates a public wifi hotspot from the router unless you opt out.

So I have removed the microwave radiation as much as possible from my life.

I still have high anxiety and extreme anxiety and breathing problems and other symptoms when driving and sometimes when I have been on the computer for a long time.

I have been drinking celery freshly juiced as I heard it is good for EHS.

This is my story, can anyone relate to this, any suggestions to get better?

Hi, there.  I am "new" to it since realizing and experiencing pretty undeniable symptoms in late July this year.   I wish I had a magic answer to what would help you and me as well as so many out there.

I think dental metal is a must to remove for many to start to heal.  But get strong enough and then do it SAFELY using dentists against mercury and protocols such as oxygen and full covering... etc...
I have talked to a few experts but seems there is no cure.  Just avoid and stay as healthy as we can.

Detox metals and detox any parasites or immunity drains.
Go slow and safe.

Don't overdo.

Now I am sensitive to even small signals that I would have never thought would give me pain and palpitations.  I get so inflamed now...

I try to "earth" more outside, feet in the grass, sand, water.  I am trying to sleep in DARK and have grounded so many things.  I am awaiting YShield paint for the bedroom.

I have to sell my electric car... It never occurred to me I would have an issue prior to July.
I am still adjusting and it's not easy.

Meditate and find some light in your life somewhere.

Let us know what works for you as you try...

I share my insights and learnings as I find them.  I am doing almost everything I can to not cry daily and sometimes it just becomes too much.  :(

I cry for the life I lost, the places I can never go now and the all the things I wanted to see and do... It's like a dream that will never come true.

Forgot to add it seems there is good evidence that helping to calm and heal the Limbic system is a key for overall healing to take place.  This one is a tough one for me as I have been in subconscious fight or flight since I was at least 7 years old or earlier.  My startle response is off the chart and I am tense 100% of the time.

Hi Elle, thanks for commenting.

I was reading this article about the effect of wifi on dental metal the other day.
It was an experiment of teeth with amalgam fillings exposed to wifi for 20mins and the conclusion is that there is more mercury released from filling exposed to wifi.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4944481/

I have one amalgam filling at it has started to break down either due to age or through the exposure I had but I have read that since EMF's interfere with the blood brain barrier , having excess mercury in your system is not a good idea, since this mercury could end up crossing the blood brain barrier where it could cause the most damage in the brain.

I have looked into dentists who undertake amalgam removal process but have found few who take it seriously enough and the ones that do charge a hefty premium.
I agree it is a necessity though.

My friend is big into "earthing" she does this by going for a swim in the sea once a day.
I did try the earthing mouse mats, but found them to make symptoms worse possibly they attract more emfs if not used correctly, so I might just give the natural earthing a go and take a cold swim in the sea(shiver).

I see you are in a similar position, I have to admit I have had days that were so bad I just lay down not expecting to be alive the next day but we must remain positive and hopeful, I believe in the body's ability to heal itself given the proper environment and nutrition.
As you say it is very restrictive, as I can not do all the things I once took for granted, but i believe this can be overcome in time.
It has had a huge effect on my Limbic system also, specifically the amygdala, so even a small day to day stress will flick the fight/flight response and start off anxiety.

I will be doing experiments to see what will work and will post in forum if I have a breakthrough.

Re: I think I have developed EHS

Yesterday was the first day I left the home in weeks, drove the diesel car (total roundtrip 1.5 hours) to/from an appointment.  I was exposed to their Wi-Fi for about an hour and also whatever RF came off the towers while driving...   On the way home and after returning home I noticed a huge spike in the (nerve?) inflammation from my brain stem down to neck/shoulders arms and to the low back.

It was intense and I was very warm to the touch and internal temp seemed elevated.

Soon as I could I drank a juice and green drink with chlorella and turmeric with blueberries, strawberries, greens, pineapple and protein powder.  (I ordered some whey protein per some suggestions, but it won't be here for a while.)

Later on my breathing seemed weaker and I was very tired early.  I really had no appetite again.
I just wanted to take anything to stop the inflammation and lie down.

I take medical legal CBD and THC, but I don't like taking too much THC.  I use CBD and THC pain cream mostly and a high mg of CBD tincture oil I make using olive oil.   Almost no amount was enough to calm the fire inside me down.
