I'm sure that there are many places that sell such a cable... that site was the result of 1 minute of Google searching, just to show that such cables do exist (and as such, I have no personal experience with this company)

Marc:  I still have yet to get on the phone. Before I do what kind of specifications am I looking for.  I know twisted is one.  Does it need to be Cat 5?  What wording would I use to google the type of thing I need?

What would I put in the search?

That way I could pull up more than one company and compare and out of that call them all and at least one should be helpful and find me the solution.

Thanx

I don't even know if you really need twisted pair wiring or not.  They do that to prevent EMF interference, so I assume that's a good thing for us.  Their motivation is so the phone line can support DSL signals, which is why they say "Cat 5".  But of course, you're only going to be using the phone line for voice connections, which does not require that.

At the very least, you should use terms like "RJ11" (phone jack), "phone", and "wire" or "cable".  Maybe also search for something to do with weather-proofing ("outdoor"?).  Also, if the cable needs to be 100 feet, that narrows down your choices.

I have been researching all this more including the phone cable. I am also in the process of getting the word out to RV people to see what they can maybe come up with.

I really feel I would prefer the twisted, as the system begins at a wireless device and goes to my ear. Down the line as more info becomes available I may want to have the system changed over to fiber optic as more people start creating cheaper versions of the item in the article.

I was on amazon tonight and found these:  http://www.amazon.com/100ft-Outdoor-Direct-Burial-Shielded/dp/B001UKVKIA/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1446875662&sr=8-20&keywords=shielded+phone+cable

Does not say if it's twisted or not, but the seller has good feedback. I can always hope the seller would be able to tell me. It looks to be outdoor rated?

http://www.amazon.com/CERTICABLE-RJ11-RJ11-CAT-5E-OUTDOOR-TELEPHONE/dp/B00IPLVKOG/ref=sr_1_24?srs=8022549011&ie=UTF8&qid=1446876727&sr=8-24

I think this might be what I am looking for, but the seller's feedback is too poor to want to try this. Is this going to work for me?

Would be worth hunting down elsewhere if so.

Would I need conduit also?

This cable looks like it's shielded, which could be a good or bad thing.  I know that it sounds like a good thing, but sometime shielding in these cables cause problems (because the shielding attracts frequencies, and those get carried to the end point).

That looks like it would work... but yes, the sellers feedback isn't perfect.  Still, the product feedback is good enough.

That's a good point about the shielding!  When going from cell to wired, I do not want that up my wires!

As far as the second cable I think that is the one that I will go with, just have to find someone decent to buy it from, will take more looking.
