I'm just curious.
I keep reading that it helps hundreds of enzymatic reactions, and enzymes are on the front line of problems for ES people (they can't digest well, can't detox well, immune system does not work well, can't perform well in terms of energy etc). how much magnesium are you all taking? What kind of magnesium you think helped you most? Thanks |
Only magnesium oil.. If you can get real Zechstein one they say it's the best.. I have one that says it is but I have no way to verify. All other pill forms did not work very well. Just mix oil + water 50/50 and put anywhere on the skin where you can tolerate it.. it does cause some itchiness, but the improvement in ES sensitivity is worth a little itchiness.. I used to put it 2-3 times a day, now I just do whenever I feel bad.. but really it helps a lot, with energy improvement and whenever there is too much EMF to get back to somewhat normal. I don't think the body will absorb it if it doesn't need it also, so I think it's safer this way.. I didn't like any pill/powders I tried except Bisglycinate which was somewhat tolerable, but still not as good as oil. |
Thank you sailplane.
I just ordered a lot of Zechstein salts, and let's see. I'm thinking to do liposomals with them. I can't tolerate taking a lot of magnesium orally. Good to know you feel it helped you. |

I began having leg cramps especially in the calves after a smart meter was installed. I use the Zechstein magnesium "oil" and the cramps disappear within minutes. I apply a spray on calves morning and bedtime, and if I forget the spasms return. When applied
to the same spot the skin may begin to pucker but applying coconut oil after the spray has dried prevents that. A person shouldn't take loads of any mineral as it may cause the depletion of other vital minerals.

I used to use it for the calves too, but recently I've used it on my back, neck, arm muscles, etc.. any sore muscle spots. It helps with more than just the tight muscles though, and helps with sleep.. If you wake up in the middle of the night unable to sleep, it works good. I really wonder though, about the 'loads' of minerals. I doubt the skin will absorb it just because it's on the skin if it's not needed? I think it should be pretty safe to spray daily a fair amount, if you take too much it has a laxative effect anyway, and you'd probably be too relaxed? =) I was never able to get 'too much'... I have tried. You can only put so much and then get too itchy.. that's the real problem. But it definitely works great, and fast as you said. |

Dr. Mercola says: "High calcium and low magnesium stops detoxification by restricting magnesium-dependent transporters and by putting you in a state of chronic inflammation."

No supplement magnesium as I can't tolerate it. Either as pills or "oil" on the skin.
I get my magnesium through healthy food which is the best way to get the magnesiem I need. |
What happens if you use the oil? |
Don't remember exactly, but I think it was some form of headache and or other symptoms.
Though I could have taken it in very small dosages through the day maybe it would have been better. |

If one eats a lot of dairy you normally need magnesium as the balance generally needs to be 2:1 for good health.
Just to say, 2 parts calcium to 1 part magnesium. If you take too much normally your bowels will become more active, if too loose you are taking too much. Never heard of it being good for ES yet it does help with muscle relaxation including the heart. |
