I am not very electrosensative. I began having problems when I was laid off and
sat at my own desk with wifi two ft. from my head. Our house is RF free now. That is when I began my journey of self education on all forms of RF and AC issues. I do not look for less than 100MHZ.. But I do know steel belted radial tires are a source emf and they can be demagnetized. Sent from a Hard-Wired Computer and a low RF environment. Also, a lot of these newer cars have LCD screens in them, which could bother many people here. You know that is funny because I was told that once before. So I checked with
two meters Lutron and Coronet ED75 and I can find no abnormal readings at any speed. What kind of meter do you have? Sent from a Hard-Wired Computer and a low RF environment. Dont know. Do notice I have to bring a towell as people leave their perfume on the seat belt straps and it gets on my neck. I think it depends on the brand as some cars feel worse then others. Also what models, noticed some smell very plastic and some seem ok to me. Also remember to try ac and heater before saying you want that car as smoke or mold sits in some air vents . Maybe go to a place ahead of time and try your meter out. Good luck Has anyone tried that EMF supplement? Lynn D Moorpark --- In [hidden email], "C.a.b. Thanks for everyone's suggestions!
PS It may or may not be the dish and I get yellow red readings with pulsing. So I'm going to try a couple of things and see how it goes. >________________________________ > From: John Puccetti <[hidden email]> > >Aluminum screen is effective and we let air in, Mylar is good and cheap but no >air. |

did you test back where the batteries are?

Re: smells in cars and general EMF as Patricia mentioned - I was
severely car-sick as a child. My father changed his car often, though they were usually secondhand. The worst one was the brand new one witih the "new car" smell. Ugh. It stank of plastic and made me want to throw up as soon as I got in. It will only mean anything to the UK folk, but it was a Vauxhall Cavalier. :-P I much prefer old cars with less plastic in. Hey, I am affected by reads of 0.3 uW/m2 when it's pulsed RF! So, I feel for you getting hit with 1+ mW/m2. We all have different sensitivity levels. I've purchased expensive high frequency meters and measure when I begin to "feel" something happening.
Snoshoes (?) suggestion of the water bottles is a good one, even though it may be unsightly. I've purchased foil faced foam board from Lowes and put it over my windows and it helps a lot - I face the foil side towards wall or window because it stops RF from bouncing around the house. Keep it in good shape and if it doesn't help you can return it for a refund. Also, I've purchased rolls of aluminum window screen material on Ebay to put over my windows (it must be metal screen not the synthetic polyester stuff). Even though it has small holes, the RF sees it as a solid metal wall and has very little penetration. It's been useful for blocking much RF except for blocking what's coming off one neighbor's white plastic rectangular antenna mounted on a tripod on his roof. That thing is nasty and hard to block. I've asked the neighbor what it is and does and have received three different answers..they aren't telling! Probably stealing some free internet or TV access. |
Oops, I meant to say what Al Harding said about the water bottles....
