My friend has multiple chemical sensitivities in addition to
elecromagnetic hypersensitivity. She is facing dental work, such as a couple of root canals but she reacts very badly to the chemicals they use. And the anesthetic. Does anyone know of any groups where I can get information about dental techniques useful for people like her? I would appreciate any information about techniques, holistic dental societies, how to avoid root canal. Contact me out of the group since this is a little off topic. |
I don't know much about dentistry or root canals. It seems to me that
once you have a root canal procedure you may be set up for a life of problems with infections and other complications. Is the tooth and root completely dead or just infected? I would recommend pursuing Rife machines to kill off infections along with Colloidal Silver and removing all metal from the mouth and supplementing with colostrum and probiotics to regenerate the nerve and mouth environment before ripping it all out. I have a brother that has had to have a couple of procedures because the original root canal got infected and other complications. I wish I had better info to give you regarding a modern dentist that isn't attached to making money off the procedure. good luck andrew On Mar 18, 2006, at 6:16 PM, thomasina carr wrote: > My friend has multiple chemical sensitivities in addition to > elecromagnetic hypersensitivity. You couldn't give me a million dollars to try another root canal.
That should give my opinion. :) There's a lot of dental work info. in this group actually, if you type things like "dentists" or "root canals" into the search box. I found this link the other day, I thought some of you might like. May have been discussed before, but talk about an electric mouth! http://www.alternative-doctor.com/dentistry/dentistry2.htm ~ Snoshoe > On Mar 18, 2006, at 6:16 PM, thomasina carr wrote: > > > My friend has multiple chemical sensitivities in addition to > > elecromagnetic hypersensitivity. My husband (who is ES and MCS) had an infected root canal removed three
months ago. We did a lot of research before going ahead with the procedure. In the end we were convinced that root canals are NEVER safe. If you or your friend are just starting to learn about this subject, the website below may be a good place place to start. Look under "Library" and "Links". http://www.hugnet.com/ Good luck!
