Help, tried homeopathy and got worse

Hi

I decided to try this homeopath because she said that she had had some goodexperiences with homeopathy and ES patients. She gave me 2 remedies:

1 Phosphorus D200 5 pills once a week

2 Agaricus Muscarius D30 5 pills twice a week


I took number one last friday and didnt notice anything. Then on Sunday I took the second one. That night I started to feel strange burning sensationsall over. Then during the next couple of days the prickling feeling all over began and EMF sensitivity got a lot worse and still is. I feel electrified all over the body now.

She says that its good that I reacted! Well it is I guess, if this passes! But it hasnt after 5 days. This is terrible now. I really hope this passes soon.

Does anyone else have experiences with homeopathy?

In the past, I've tried two different "metal detox" homeopathics, which
contained homeopathic mercury plus other homeopathic metals. Probably a
fairly healthy person could handle taking such a thing, but you should
avoid this if you are really metal toxic, as it could make you feel
really horrible.

i also heard of great results using homeopathy for es, from acqaintances of mine, and visited this particular homeopath to see if the claims were correct.  i was given a different set of remedies than you, but one was for detoxing my bone marrow.  the result was same, plus i got raging hormones--and my es got very bad.  my doctor DID warn me that i should use an energy conditioner in my home with the treatments and completely curtail all electricity use while on his treatment regime.  (i didn't have the funds at the time for the energy conditioner, but did curtail all electricityuse.)  i was not allowed to go out, use the telephone, watch tv, be on the computer, cook with electric or use electric small appliances....  everything which could be unplugged in my house had to be unplugged....  forabout a month.  i used battery candles for lights, and luckily my furnace did not require electricity, nor my hot water so i had a fairly normal time
of it.  i did finally get over the reaction. it took about 6 to 8 weeks.  and i was better afterward. 
 
i called this homeopath for a follow-up after a month and he did not feel i was a good candidate for treatment.  i got the impression that he was not used to patients having such a bad reaction.  i decided not to pursue it further.  however i did subsequently buy the energy conditioner (a different, less expensive version than he was selling) and find it very helpful.  i have one house we were rehabbing that became impossible for meto stay in and now, with the Quantum Pro product i bought (an energy conditioner), i can stay there quite comfortably.  the same, or a similar product, might help you get thru your period of detox--that is what is causing the fire and prickling.  toxic metals in your body were dumped and are circulating thru your body trying to get out.  the electricity reacts with those circulating metals.  i wish i could make it 2 months from now foryou.  there is not much which can help you right now, save for the things i
have already mentioned.  just know it should get better and you should see an improvement, but it will take awhile.

i was under the impression my amagam fillings were gone when i went to the homeopath, however, the homeopath checked my mouth and said some were stillthere--in my molars!  i was pretty miffed over this because in the late 1980s i had asked my dentist to remove them all.  (and of course he did it wrong.)  so i was really upset when i learned he put a few back, as well!  so, yes, i did gave some amalgams--that might have been partially responsible for my reaction. 
 
i took a bunch of remedies (20) over several days, but the biggest offender seemed to be "BML--10MM", which was to detox the bone marrow.  i also had bad reactions from "AB--10MM" which was to detox antibiotics, even tho i hadn't taken an actual medicine antibiotic for at least 14 years (i ate non-organic eggs and meats with probable antibiotics in them most of my adult life until 4 years ago, tho).  another called "acid phophate composite--10MM" was particularly bad; what that was for i don't remember.  andi reacted badly to "brain--10MM" and "candida trop. 400X".  also, my remedies were not pills, but sublingual drops. 
 
how is the nux vomica working for you?  are you feeling any better?  i hope so.

wow your remedies were really high potencies

slightly better maybe but not much, i'm really angry with the whole thing, the pains were quite much better and now this stupid worsening, i just HATEthis skin symptoms, they are so torturous  :(

Have you tried taking antioxidants, essential fatty acids, or
skin lotion? That's what I'd do for skin symptoms.

But yes, one has to be careful when trying out new supplements
and therapies, as sometimes they can worsen your condition.
The "cure being worse than the illness" problem. :-(

yes, i can commiserate--i felt peaved and stupid for listening to people who obviously were either not really EMS or who had their own agenda.  thisdoctor seemed shocked that i got this bad from the remedies, so that told me that he was probably not curing people like us left and right as was reported to me.  he was not anxious to have me come back either, which made me think he was perhaps unsure of what he was doing.  i don't consider myself that unusually bad an ems case.  (tho i do have alot of other unusual side issues secondary to celiac disease which may have played into myreaction--long undxed cd can leave you open to all sorts of parasitic and toxic issues).  i read it as this doctor knowing just enough on the subject to get himself and his patients into trouble.  on the plus side, tho, he was a strong believer in EMS and he did do alot of homework.  i give him credit for that.  he was very appreciative of info i gave him--sites
and books on ES.  i sympathize with your pain, too, having been there.  i hope it soon ends for you.
 
re potencies...   i think the potencies are a bit misleading, since each homeopath can or not make his own remedies and the way they do this is often a bit different from homeo to homeo.

yes, and i forgot to mention i also took B12 and it helped some, Joni.  (i think an energy conditioner would help you the most.  it has a 60day guarantee, but costs $500.)

Have you tried taking antioxidants, essential fatty acids, or
skin lotion? That's what I'd do for skin symptoms.

But yes, one has to be careful when trying out new supplements
and therapies, as sometimes they can worsen your condition.
The "cure being worse than the illness" problem. :-(

My condition got so bad today that i decided to try what the homeopath suggested:

i take one pill of the homeopathic remedy and put it in a glass of water, then take a sip of that water. Same thing tomorrow with the second remedy. This might stop the reaction she said. If this does not help I have no idea what to do. :(

Which antioxidants did you have in mind Marc?

yes, and i forgot to mention i also took B12 and it helped some, Joni.  (i think an energy conditioner would help you the most.  it has a 60day guarantee, but costs $500.)

Well, some people claim to have good results with the mainstream
antioxidants Vitamin C, A, and E. I never personally had very
good results with these, although I do have good results from
food-based C and A supplements (as opposed to synthetic
ascorbic acid, etc.).

I've had better experiences (and currently use) stronger
antioxidants, like H-Minus from e3Live:

Even a 1/4 scoop of the powder mixed in water stops
most toxic reactions in me (and 1/4 scoop is well
below the recommended dosage).

Also, I've had luck with Amrit Ambrosia tablets from
MAPI:

But alas, both of those products are quite expensive.
The whole foods Vitamin A and C products I use are
cheaper, and are called Cataplex A and Cataplex C.
These are normally sold by holistic doctors, but you
can find them online in a few places.

Also to stop a toxic reaction, I've had luck with
activated charcoal and magnesium citrate. The
best luck I've had with these is to open up the
capsule and mix them with water. One nice water-soluable
magnesium citrate powder is called "Natural Calm".

That's my basic "bag of tricks" for stopping a
toxic reaction...

Some say that ordinary Vitamin C and Vitamin E are worthless because
they are synthetics that aren't the *real* vitamins found in foods.
You'd actually be better off getting your vitamins from foods known to
be high in these vitamins. Or supplements which are made from these
foods. I know that my reaction to a whole food Vitamin C like
"Cataplex C" is far better than from the same amount (or more) of
ascorbic acid.

The active ingredient is negative hydrogen ions, which have been
stabilized in silica until they are mixed in water. The ions
neutralize free radical activity, which I think is responsible
for some of the bad feelings people get around EMF.

The ingredients list on the bottle says:
Silica Hydride Powder Proprietary Blend: Potassium Citrate, Silica,
Potassium Carbonate, Oleic Acid, Hydrogen Negative Ions.
