Hi,
I have been lurking for about a week now, and am so very happy to find a group with my same concerns. I live in a suburban area, surrounded by about 30 cell towers (according to antennasearch.com) and have always had trouble sleeping here, but my insomnia became complete when smart meters were installed in my neighborhood in August 2011. It took us about a year to find and buy a house out in the country, and I am hopeful that I will be able to sleep when we move at the end of this month. Other than insomnia, I also have a popping in my neck when around cell towers, and sometimes experience tingling over my body as if an electrical current is running through it. I have been fighting a rash for the past couple of months, and of course my immunity to common illnesses is very low due to lack of sleep. I have tried a EMF-blocking canopy above my bed, and my experience is that it initially gives me some relief, but after an hour or two becomes increasingly worse. I have tried the Q-link and Earthcalm products, and Stetzer filters, but they did not help (in some cases made it worse). Things that do help: a grounding mat from Earthing.com (I ground directly into the earth), and anything from Belly Armor. These shields are made for pregnant women, but help protect the adrenals and kidneys from RF. I also wear a silvered balaclava at night to help the sleeping pills work. I wrap our wired router and DECT phones in EMF-blocking fabric. We'll be going back to corded phones at the new house, and all computer equipment will be in an office over the detached garage. There is a smart meter on the new house, but I'm going to launch a campaign on the electric company to get it removed, or use the kit from FreedomTaker.com to replace it. At least we'll be on two acres and there are only two other houses anywhere near ours, so their smart meters and wi-fi equipment shouldn't affect me. One thing that I've noticed as we've looked at dozens of houses over the past year -- elevation makes a huge difference. Any house with a "hilltop view" was immediately eliminated, because the higher I am, the more "signals" I can pick up. Our new house is in a hollow between two houses up on hills, and has 80 acres of woods behind it. Fairly protected from cell signals! We live in a part of the country where there are almost no houses with basements, because of the high water table. Also, I saw someone else's posting about rain. The only time I can get any natural sleep is during a rainstorm, and even when there are low clouds I feel so much better. I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of now. Christine a.k.a. Hi Christine,
Welcome to the group. You sound like you have really done your homework and are doing the best possible thing, which is trying to get away from the radiation. This world has really gone crazy. The Corporations that own our government have no regard for human or animal life and all we can do is try to run for cover it seems, waiting for the day that the billions of people addicted to buying wireless devices wake up and realize the suffering and destruction they are causing by using this dirty technology. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones. You will be moving to the country. Most of us are left to stew in the city where radiation levels are constantly increasing. Last time I measured the neighborhood, I was getting 3500 mw/m2. That is criminal! But a perfect stealth weapon is one you can't hear, taste, smell, touch or feel. More and more people are starting to feel it though, they just don't know what it is they are feeling and they do not realize the gravity of the situation. So the more we get the word out the better. I thought I would never see the day they banned smoking in public areas in Washington State. I waited 40 years for that. I could never understand why other people had the right to pollute my airspace. Right now, I am waiting for the day that people can sue their neighbors for polluting their airspace with routers, smart meters, wireless devices and cell towers. Why should the people who don't want it have to suffer to accomadate the people who want it? Why don't they put up screening to protect others from their pollution and pay for the expense instead of making us pay for all this sheilding stuff and forcing us to move? I have had it. We have got to get politically active before T-Mobile and Verizon et al fry the poor bees to death and kill us all. But, it is a daunting task when we are dealling with a government that is to begin with, using Drones to kill innocent civilians and making laws to prevent Church of LDS and Survival Preppers from storing food. Hi Christine,
I, too, have just joined this group after "lurking around" in it. Your story is very similar to mine. I became ES after a smart meter was placed on my home, but the one on my home is not totally wireless - it's a power line communication "wired" meter which mainly puts the RF onto the wiring in the home instead of emitting it through the air. It does have a wireless function to communicate with smart gas and water meters if those are present at the home- although the electric company will not admit this wireless function to customers. New towers and antennas have been erected all over town to go along with this new smart grid and I am having a very hard time functioning in it because of the irregular heart beat, dizziness, ear noise, headaches, fatigue, etc. Towers and antennas are being installed even in remote areas out in the country, so we're having a time finding a safe house. When we find that safe house, I would like to do as advised in Freedomtaker, however because power line communication injects the RF right into the wiring in the home, replacing the meter may only give some relief from the dirty power from the switched mode power supply in the digital meter. The RF will still come through the mains power into the home even if a person has an analog with power line communication. However, one might then be freed from the all-seeing eye of the smart meter. Here's an excellent article explaining this (wish I understood how to embed it - copy and paste to open - it will be worth your time!: http://stopsmartmeters.org.uk/smart-meters-engineering-a-virtual-panopticon/ |

You are so right. Once I get moved and <hopefully> start to feel better, I intend to get very vocal with legislators, company CEOs, the President, anyone who will listen. Just because we are the most sensitive does not mean it's not causing the general population distress in the form of migraines, hyperactivity, depression, allergies, and probably cancer. Anything that disrupts restorative sleep is going to have an adverse effect on immunity.
What floors me is that so many people are against windmills, yet every time I turn around I see another cell tower has gone up and no one says anything about it. My hat is off to The People's Initiative and other movements to stop smart meters. We need to also support and replicate grass-roots groups like the Burbank, CA "No Cell Tower in our Neighborhood". Hi,
Maybe when the powers that be realize that they are corroding infrastructure at a hellish rate, and that it is costing billions, they will smarten up. Please see the latter part of page 9 for info on infrastructure corrosion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjmRKovTS7Q Sincerely, Laurie ________________________________ From: christinelrc <[hidden email]> To: [hidden email] Sent: Wednesday, May 8, 2013 9:40:01 AM Subject: [eSens] Re: Hello! what about behind the meter, laurie? in my condo, the EMF was off the charts in the room behind the meter. looks good… just asking for more info. and is www.smartmeterguard.com the place where we find info re infrastructure corrosion? i've been trying to find that info. thank you!

Hi,
The videos on the Smart Meter Guard show that the metal box that houses the smart meter keeps the signals confined to the front direction. So, when you put the guard on, it virtually stops all escape of emissions, except something like 2%, which is enough to permit the transmission of data to the collector. I would imagine that anywhere near a room with smart meters would be off the charts. Please view the videos to see what the inventors of the Smart Meter Guard are demonstrating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tXC8fjrwmY Reports by Dr Andrew Michrowski on corrosion follow. http://media.withtank.com/42391c31ef.pdf Please see page 9 of this report, the last 2 paragraphs. The entire report, however, is quite an eye-opener. http://www.willthomasonline.net/smart%20meter%20insistence%20bowing%20to%20resistance.htm Please scroll down just past the cell towers to find: EMF-Wireless Corrosion Is The Pits http://www.bcuc.com/Documents/Proceedings/2013/DOC_33322_C19-8_WKCC_Evidence.pdf By Curtis Bennett. This open letter was sent to all 10 provinces in Canada. On the fourth page (you will have to carefully scroll down and count each page to get there) you will read, under Land Use, the info on corrosion. This is quite a good article. Well, I hope this helps! Once I get moved and <hopefully> start to feel better, I intend to get very vocal with legislators, company CEOs, the President, anyone who will listen.
