Yes I'd like the same thing. But it wouldn't be easy to write because:

-The science on EMF is stlll in relative infancy
-EMF sufferers are affected in different ways
-There is no reliable measurable scientific test
-Doctors have never figured out a protocol that guides them in what to do about it
-EMF victims tend to be isolated and not helping each solve the EMF problem much
-Many things that are said to work, are of very questionable value
-People tend to be skeptical that EMF is really a thing

That's just off the top of my head.

Here's a short manual:

Best way to heal: Gain distance from EMF.

  Second best way: Shield yourself.

Tied-for-second-best way: Nourish and strengthen your body to fight it off.

People sometimes claim there's a special food or supplement that fights EMF.  I don't know about that, but I do think anything that helps your health fights EMF.

I personally like the carbon microwave absorber material at lessEMF.com.

Hope that helps.

Re: Guidance manual for getting healed from ES?

Jinna
People do get better...

I think heavy metals and infections must be addressed.

Lowering inflammation is the way to go, I think.

But it's not a cure, we just get better.

Now that I know which are my symptoms, I know the symptoms exist for other healthy people, who think they have no symptoms.

They all have symptoms, but they still function, so they call that 'no symptom'.

At the cellular level, there's damage, some permanent damage.

It's like pesticides, glyphosates, poisons in the food, water.
Some people are more sensitive and fall ill with clear symptoms. But others just go on living.
Not as perfect as they should, but they're not aware.

Pesticides aren't good for anyone.
When people still function, they don't care about toxins.

There's no chronic illness that come with a manual 'how to get healed from it'.

There's no chronic illness that is healed with any fixed therapy, working for all.

EHS is not an exception.

When chronic illness installs, it stays because of many factors, not just one.

Like with allergens, we would rather live without allergens, if we could.

But sometimes the allergens are in the environment, we can't avoid.

The only thing to do is to reinforce the body, the immune system.

Even with plants, it works. The plant gets fungi on its leaves, malformation due to disease, you give them fertilizers, minerals, etc, the plant many times heals on its own. And rather fast, many times.

Okay, this one is always hard to hear, but the reason there is no 'official manual' is because everyone needs different parts of it and different paths in order to heal.  I've seen so many people over the years belligerantly screaming that they have the answer for everybody and chewing out people who don't believe them (or worse, charging lots of money for it)... and it just isn't true.  There are just so many comorbidities that can be going on, so many side issues that are completely personalized that have to be dealt with in order.  And it can be frustrating and depressing - but that's the process.  For me, what's been helping is getting off as much medication as possible and switching at first to a gluten-free milk-free nightshade-free (mostly) diet, and then about three years' worth of five-element Taoist acupuncture coupled with a short duration of clay and charcoal detox, and whey protein isolate and tiny amounts of glutamine (from whole barley) and butyrate (from ghee) - but I've only been able to do those last couple things since April of this year!  And I'm still not there - weirdly enough, I test negative for 'electrical' sensitivity, but 'magnetic' sensitivity is still here... and then I remember when that first started happening at the end of high school:  this is following the path in reverse; it is going the right way, but it takes however long it takes.  I've never had luck with anything shielding at all - viscerally can't stand to be anywhere near the stuff, as in within a houselength of it.

From my own experience I have to agree with Jinna. I think in most cases a very important puzzle piece is heavy metal exposure.

Myself I became extremely ES overnight, after taking a mineral supplement. It took me a year of completely avoiding almost all electricity to recover. Now I can use computers if I shield them properly.

Currently I am so sensitive to heavy metals, I can detect them in most foods, because if I eat a contaminated food, my ES will go up the following day.

When I stop eating the offending food, it takes my body about a week to recover back to the base level.

The most common contaminated foods I have found are 1) spices, 2) herbal supplements.

Therefore the only "spice" I currently use on my food is Celtic Sea Salt. I've been using it for years, and no ES problems from it.

To speed up recovery, I have noticed a couple things that can help. Here is my short list:

Tincture of Cilantro
EDTA
DMSA

Why do these help? They are all binders of heavy metals. To replace the minerals that get flushed out with these, the sea salt is great. You don't even need to take the synthetic ones (EDTA or DMSA), even Cilantro just by itself already helps in my opinion.

But the most important thing is to stop eating foods that gave you the heavy metals in the first place!!

Otherwise no amount of Cilantro is going to help. I have a very restrictive diet because of this. But I would eliminate spices and herbal supplements first, and any foods that contain spices (read the labels). You have to be suspicous towards anything in your current diet that may be supplying you with a constant load of heavy metals.

Casper, good information.

Could you advise the brand of cilantro tincture you use?
And how much and how often do you you take it?

Also, if you could list a sample of the diet/foods you do eat.  I have the hardest time having zero appetite and I want to make sure I avoid any heavy metals.  Your sensitivity might help me avoid those if you are eating things that are OK.

Thank YOU!!!

Good questions Elle. One thing I forgot to mention is that I also suffer from something called CFS/ME, which actually makes my diet even more restrictive. So I am not only intolerant of heavy metals, but I am extremely food intolerant in general. Therefore my diet is probably not such a good reference for "normal" ES people.

But the general rule is: the more of the food you have to "prepare yourself", the better it probably is for you. The longer the label on anything you eat, the worse it probably is, however this rule is more from a food intolerance standpoint.

For example, from the protein side, it seems pork meat (tenderloin) works the best for me. I have tried fish several times, but it does not seem to suit my stomach. Tuna fish works pretty well, but I get ES symptoms from it! So tuna fish is not recommended from an ES standpoint.

Potatoes seems I can handle from an ES standpoint, but my stomach doesn't always agree. But I have not yet reacted ES to potatoes, but this may be a local thing (soil contamination may be different for you).

Another slightly more processed food, which I eat quite often is corn pasta. I verified direct from the manufacturer that the corn is not genetically modified (brand Pasta D'Oro). This corn seems to be OK from all aspects. Note that I live in Finland, so this corn is grown in EU. In fact I would say this corn is so "pure" it is actually slightly depleted in minerals. So it is not a food you could sustain yourself on long-term. But it gives energy, is quick to prepare, and I never got ES symptoms from it.

Avocados I never got ES symptoms from either. Tried many different brands. Seems to be safe, and works great when mixed in with the pasta above.

In Finland we have long tradition of rye bread. I eat some local rye bread and rye crackers as snacks. The ingredient list is water, salt, rye, and probiotic starting culture. Never got ES from these.

Vegetables, salad, cucumber, tomatoes. These all seem safe. Most of these are low density foods, low mineral content, and therefore most likely to be ES harmless too.

Eggs I cannot handle for food intolerance, but never got ES from them either. Likely safe, but may also be a local thing (what they feed the chickens).

From time to time I order some sprouted organic seeds from the US to have something extra to snack or mix in with my limited other ingredients (Lydia's Organic Foods). Although there are some spices used in these, so far these have been ES-safe for me.

I've tried some organic black pepper and turmeric before for spices. I reacted ES to both. I think most turmeric may be quite contaminated, but even supposedly ultra-pure turmeric from Natural News Store did not work well with me. Turmeric and black pepper are both on my ban list.

My latest experiment was Seed probiotics, which I wanted to try for my CFS symtoms. First batch was OK, no problems. Second batch 3 months later gave me ES. Turns out the capsules contain some herbs in them. May have been a contaminated batch.

If you still want to use herbs for something, then Nature's Way and Now Foods are brands I have used from time to time, and I never got ES from them. They seem to have good quality control, but keep in mind I of course have not sampled their whole inventory. Only a handful of herbs.

Supplements. Lots of magnesium. Magnesium malate. Never got ES from magnesium. It's supposed to be only magnesium after all, but you never know (if there is contamination in anything I mean). Brand NutraMedix.

Salt, Celtic Sea Salt. Never got ES from it.

Cilantro tincture: I like brand "Herb Pharm". A full dropper 3 times per day. Never had a bad reaction from it, but be careful since cilantro may mobilize heavy metals. Better start with smaller dose first.

I have tried taking Chlorella tablets also, since they are supposed to bind to heavy metals in the gut. Not sure if it helps, but you might want to try it combined with the cilantro. E.g. the idea being cilantro mobilizes, and chlorella binds. I think chlorella is not needed, but you can try it. Chlorella by itself I did not notice much of an effect, but this may also be an individual thing. It may be worth a try.

Charcoal capsules are nice. Charcoal however is not a particularly good binder of heavy metals, but it binds to a lot of other crap. If you feel nauseous, especially if stomach-related, take 3 capsules of charcoal, and I guarantee you will feel better in short order. Always a good trick to have in your medicine cabinet.

Iodine. Lugol's iodine. It mobilizes the other halogens (fluorine, chlorine, and bromine). Iodine should / may also help with heavy metal excretion. Most people are deficient. Combine with selenium which is also important for heavy metal elimination. I have taken large doses, never made my ES worse. First time I tried iodine my pee smelled like a chemical factory for two days. I think it eliminated something. Makes me sleep better when I take it. Normal dose is 1 drop per day. I take mine in the morning.

DMSA - I took this for a long time (Andy Cutler's heavy metal protocol). Many years. In the beginning it reduced my brain fog significantly. However I think there is a limiting factor to much you can just forcibly pull out of the body without supplying replacement minerals. Therefore just taking any chelating agent like DMSA or EDTA, without any other supplementation may be a waste of money. I'm not a scientist, but if you read people's experiences, this seems to be what happens often. People hit a wall with metal elimination. I stopped DMSA for this reason, as the "return on investment" seemed to be diminishing the longer I went. In the beginning however I think it was quite helpful.
