Genetic difference found in EHS vs MCS

Lynnezhu
...the researchers found a genetic difference between people in the EHS and MCS groups.  The EHS group showed a significantly higher frequency of the CYP2C19 homozygous mutated *1 allele.  The researches also found 'a mutated (null) allele combination of GSTT1 AND SGTM1 variants able to predict risk of developing EHS by a 9.7 fold factor vs control."  This is in Townsend letter June 2016 'shorts' p. 31 and is not available free on line.

Research done in Italy involving 153 Italians who self reported as EHS and 147 Italians diagnosed with MCS.   2014

Re: Genetic difference found in EHS vs MCS--link

SuperLaura
Crazy thing, I took this quote into my naturopath and asked him if I have these genetic defects. I tested positive for the higher frequency of the CYP2C19 homozygous mutated *1 allele. I didn't have the other ones.. But he said that we can actually work on fixing this in my cells. My body isn't ready yet but he tested me and said that my body wants to heal this in time. So next time I go in in three weeks we are going to see if my body is ready to deal with this issue and give it what it needs to repair it. Pretty cool!!
