If the fridge has no electronics (digital display or controls) then a
Stetzer filter will not help (and could even make things slightly worse, as it distorts the 60Hz frequency). If she has chemical sensitivity cooking with gas indoors is a potential problem. Definitely should have an exhaust fan running (but a lot of them are bad emf wise... but if the blower has a nice squirrel cage shaded pole motor it should be OK). Try cooking on a gas grille outside if possible. Hi, Mike,
I do not know whether Stetzer filters will work or not. It probably depends on the reason your wife reacts to your fridge. Do you know or have you sorted out what the problem is with the refrigerator? I do not react to my current fridge. However, when we were house hunting the past 2 years, I noticed I did react to most fridges in most homes. I began to try to sort this out and these are my best hunches, tho certainly I could be wrong in some of these..... Sometimes the fan on the fridge is what I felt bothered me--notice yesterday that Paul (PUK) sent a site which dealt with people who react to the frequency of fans, etc. Sometimes I suspected digitalized components. I noticed I react to digital components in fridges in appliance stores especially. When I look at fridges there, the ones I seem to not react to are the old type manual control fridges. All the fridges there have attrocious outgassing issues, but over-riding that, I get the headachy, anxious, confused feeling that I get from being around digital electronics. I noticed that quite a higher number of fridges in areas too close to cell towers bothered me and wondered if those houses might have dirty electric problems coming from outside (was not able to prove this). So, in this case, I am guessing there are filter fixes that could work. Of course, this could also be inside wiring issues leading to your fridge (or fridge wiring itself)--such as over loading the circuit or the wiring needing upgraded or an anomaly in your wiring.... I have found that to be the case in my current home with an a/c and a portable heater. When they are plugged (separately) into one offending outlet, they bother me greatly. They are fine plugged into another circuit. So, what I am saying is, I suspect that what leads to fridge issues results from more than one cause. My own fridge here doesn't have a fan that bothers me, isn't digital, isn't subject to dirty electricity, and doesn't have a wiring issue. Will that be the case in my home I am remodeling???? Only time will tell. One thing I have considered was building thefridge in and using Hardiebacker or an absorption material around the case. I also want to go with manual rather than digital controls, but these are now hard to find, esp if you want an updated model with a bottom freezer. Hope this helps you decide your needs, Diane --- On Thu, 10/9/08, angela england <[hidden email]> wrote: From: angela england <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] GRAHAM STETZER FILTERS To: [hidden email] Date: Thursday, October 9, 2008, 2:59 PM WOULD GRAHAM SETZER FILTERS WORK ON A REFRIGERATOR WHEN IT IS THE ONLY OFFENSIVE APPLIANCE IN THE HOUSE. Yes, supplementing with mineral-rich foods/supplements certainly can be helpful. I find magnesium and iodine-rich items particularly helpful. > i would liek to know the difference between bentonite and zeolite?
Superficially, bentonite and zeolite are similar in that they are both minerals which attract toxins and drag them out of your system via the large intestines. Activated charcoal is also similar in this respect. (some of the zeolite products on the market today have been broken down to a tiny particle size, under the assumption that they will then enter the bloodstream and bind to toxins there.) However, sensitive folks like us tend to find that things which are supposedly similar can cause drastically different side effects. Personally, I get all sorts of adverse effects from zeolite that I don't get with bentonite (mostly muscle aches and dehydration). I actually prefer activated charcoal the best, as for me it causes the most "feel good" results and the least "feel bad" side effects. Marc |

Green clay is for skin rejuvenation and baths. Be careful with drinking bentonite. It is a detoxing agent and you will have to be prepared for lots of bathroom breaks! |

There's a lot to be said for avoiding the really strong exposures, and this should allow that. Hopefully it will pick up Wi-Fi but in standby mode wi-fi is not easy to detect because the pulses are short--but if the peak function works it could be great. Also note the magnetic field sensor is also not very sensitive... good enough to protect the general public and avoid bad exposure, but again not enough to find a good sanctuary. A $20 buzz stick is definitely more sensitive (but doesn't give a number). The Tri-Field with external probe is 500 times more sensitive. If you buy it please report back. Sounds like a plan... you should experiment and see how good it is at
picking up wi-fi. If it's not too good Kensington has a dedicated wi-fi detector for around $20 I think. Beyond that it's hard to get anything sensitive enough, although I can't predict whether the MW-1 Electrosmog detector for about $90 will do better than the one you found. It just gives sounds, no numbers, and would miss unmodulated signals (although that may not matter). And doesn't measure 50 hz AC fields. I would like to have a very compact AC/microwave meter like that to bring with me when I go out someplace new, so if it works as advertised and doesn't emit horrible emfs of its own, it should be a good investment. With any electronics it's a good idea to air it out for at least a day (maybe a week) before bringing indoors. by the way , it looks like that meter is the new electrosmog meter , but im going to get it any way, seems a good place to start. To: [hidden email] Date: Tuesday, 14 October, 2008, 8:02 AM Sounds like a plan... you should experiment and see how good it is at picking up wi-fi. Bill |

Does that have audio output? If not it won't be sensitive enough.
Here are 2 items from less emf that can make a buzz stick. It also has been sold under the name "telephone listener" from radio shack. MAGNETIC PICKUP *Build Your Own Gaussmeter* Want parts to build your own gaussmeter? Here is an AC magnetic field probe. It generates an AC voltage when exposed to AC magnetic fields. Although we do not know how the output from this unit varies with frequency, we do know that the greater the magnetic field, the higher the voltage generated (at 60 Hz, it produces about 1 mV per 20 mG). Best part: it can be connected to the audio amplifier (see below), or sound recording device so you can get an auditory "picture" of the electromagnetic field. Connect 3 of them in series and create a 3-axis unit. It is quite small: only 0.7" long x 0.7" diameter, with a removable rubber suction cup attached. Has 36" lead and 1/8" (3.5 mm) mono plug. *Magnetic Pickup (Cat. #P175) ........ . $4.95* [image: add to cart]<http://www.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?userid=1151290&product=P175+Magnetic+Pickup&price=4.95&units=1&return=www.lessemf.com/ghost.html#175> ------------------------------ [image: AUDIO AMPLIFIER] AUDIO AMPLIFIER *Hear the Sounds of EMF!* Connects to Magnetic Pick-up (above) for audio translation of AC magnetic field frequency and intensity. Makes finding sources of AC magnetic fields very easy. Listen carefully to hear the hum of 50 or 60 Hz, plus clicks, pops, and shrill tones of harmonics, surges, and "dirty" power. Who knows what else you might hear? Volume is adjustable. Even has an output where you can connect earphone or external speaker. Input: 1/8in stereo. Requires 9V battery. A valuable but inexpensive addition to your paranormal toolbox. *Audio Amplifier (Cat #P175-A) $14.99* [image: add to cart]<http://www.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?userid=1151290&product=P175-A+Audio+Amplifier&price=14.99&units=1&return=www.lessemf.com/ghost.html#175> -Bill On Mon, Oct 13, 2008 at 2:59 PM, betty_starbuckle < [hidden email]> wrote: > is this whatyou mean by a buzz stick ? > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Electromagnetic-Field-EMF-Gauss-Detector-Meter- > ELF-Zone_W0QQitemZ370097073720QQcmdZViewItem? > hash=item370097073720&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65% > > 3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 > > ada > > --- In [hidden email] <eSens%40yahoogroups.com>, "Bill Bruno" > <wbruno@...> wrote: > > > > Have never heard of it.
