I am concidering purchasing the Stetzer Filters for my Home. Can anyone share their experiences with this filter with me? It probably depends on the reason your wife reacts to your fridge. Do you know or have you sorted out what the problem is with the refrigerator? I do not react to my current fridge. However, when we were house hunting the past 2 years, I noticed I did react to most fridges in most homes. I began to try to sort this out and these are my best hunches, tho certainly I could be wrong in some of these..... Sometimes the fan on the fridge is what I felt bothered me--notice yesterday that Paul (PUK) sent a site which dealt with people who react to the frequency of fans, etc. Sometimes I suspected digitalized components. I noticed I react to digital components in fridges in appliance stores especially. When I look at fridges there, the ones I seem to not react to are the old type manual control fridges. All the fridges there have attrocious outgassing issues, but over-riding that, I get the headachy, anxious, confused feeling that I get from being around digital electronics. I noticed that quite a higher number of fridges in areas too close to cell towers bothered me and wondered if those houses might have dirty electric problems coming from outside (was not able to prove this). So, in this case, I am guessing there are filter fixes that could work. Of course, this could also be inside wiring issues leading to your fridge (or fridge wiring itself)--such as over loading the circuit or the wiring needing upgraded or an anomaly in your wiring.... I have found that to be the case in my current home with an a/c and a portable heater. When they are plugged (separately) into one offending outlet, they bother me greatly. They are fine plugged into another circuit. So, what I am saying is, I suspect that what leads to fridge issues results from more than one cause. My own fridge here doesn't have a fan that bothers me, isn't digital, isn't subject to dirty electricity, and doesn't have a wiring issue. Will that be the case in my home I am remodeling?? ?? Only time will tell. One thing I have considered was building the fridge in and using Hardiebacker or an absorption material around the case. I also want to go with manual rather than digital controls, but theseare now hard to find, esp if you want an updated model with a bottom freezer. Hope this helps you decide your needs, Diane --- On Thu, 10/9/08, angela england <mariaaengland@ yahoo.com> wrote: From: angela england <mariaaengland@ yahoo.com> Subject: [eSens] GRAHAM STETZER FILTERS To: eSens@yahoogroups. com Date: Thursday, October 9, 2008, 2:59 PM WOULD GRAHAM SETZER FILTERS WORK ON A REFRIGERATOR WHEN IT IS THE ONLY OFFENSIVE APPLIANCE IN THE HOUSE. Hi Loni,
I have stetzers in my home, albeit not enough as I would like, but I had a noticeable difference in my well being after their installation even though I still have the high magnetic fields coming in. My dog also had a wonderful improvement of being able to walk again after being quite incapacitated. There are only 2 scenarios in which a Stetzer filter can possiblyhelp with a
refrigerator: 1. The fridge has some electronics in it, or possibly a short circuit causing RF contamination of the house wiring. The filter will not help near the fridge but if you put the filter right near the fridge (on the same breaker) it might help you elsewhere in the house. 2. You have a lot of differential mode noise on your wiring from some other electronics or from dirty power in the neighborhood. In this case any electromagnet will broadcast the noise, and a fridge could affect you 10 to 20 feet away. In this case, put the filters as close to the breaker panel as possible, on the same phase as the fridge. (You can tell if two circuits are on different phases because the voltage between them with be 240, but remember a 240 v shock is very likely to be serious or fatal) Full size breakers in the panel alternate phases as you go down the panel. If a radio doesn't buzz near a light switch or conventional light bulb, then you probably don't have scenario 2. (Need to check the whole AM dial though). The old manual defrost fridges are a big plus. The blower fans are often the worst. You can get a new manual defrost from SunFrost or ConServ that are super efficient and quiet (but not cheap for the size; ConServ is about $1k and it's 24" wide...; SunFrost costs much more) Bill On Fri, Mar 13, 2009 at 3:18 AM, Helen Murphy <[hidden email]>wrote: > Hi Loni, > > I have stetzers in my home, albeit not enough as I would like, but I had a > noticeable difference in my well being after their installation even though > I still have the high magnetic fields coming in. Oh that's good news Helen. The material states that you need around 20 of them for a whole house. How many do you have? Loni in Arizona

Bill, Oh, I need some education in this electrical stuff. when you say put the filter near the breaker panel. You mean the one on the outside of the house correct? Not the fridge area.
The emf Or whatever is coming from the fridget causes me pain in my jaw; nerve damage I guess. Mike,
What applicances broke??? I tried putting the fridge in the garage last summer but my husband had a major fit & brought it back in to the house. Inthe summer here in AZ it is 110 degrees & the fridge never got cold enough; for him anyway. I don't have the space to put in the laundry room. I have been turning it off when I'm home for the winter but warm weather is coming & I don't want to be pushed out of my home because of my fridge. I am thinking about putting a small a/c to cool the garage & putting it back out there but my husband probably won't tolerate that either so I don't know. I was really hoping that the filters might help. So nice that you understand & help your wife. You are a good man Mike! Could be a lymph node is congested or weak there, too, Loni re your jaw. Just a thought. Is it in only painful on one side? The book I recently suggested called "Energy Medicine" by Donna Eden has a section on lymphatic massage. I have this problem too, re jaw pain with some emfs. Thebook didn't spell out which point to massage for the jaw, so you have to try various points on your own. Mine responded to massaging the bladder and kidney points (sore spots between the bottom 2 ribs and slightly lower--poke around and if this where you have a blockage, you will figure out where they are, because these points will be sore. Just massage with your middle finger the sorest point for 10 or 20 seconds. I noticed that myjaw also responded to slapping (or tapping vigorously) my wrists--use your middle 3 fingers to do this.
Hope this helps you, Diane --- On Fri, 3/13/09, Loni <[hidden email]> wrote: From: Loni <[hidden email]> Subject: Re: [eSens] Fridges & other electrical problems/Stetzer Filter To: [hidden email] Date: Friday, March 13, 2009, 2:04 PM Bill, Oh, I need some education in this electrical stuff. when you say put the filter near the breaker panel. You can get a new manual defrost from SunFrost or ConServ that are super efficient and quiet (but not cheap for the size; ConServ is about $1k and it's 24" wide...; SunFrost costs much more) Bill On Fri, Mar 13, 2009 at 3:18 AM, Helen Murphy <helenmurphybb@ gmail.com>wrote: > Hi Loni, > > I have stetzers in my home, albeit not enough as I would like, but I had a > noticeable difference in my well being after their installation even though > I still have the high magnetic fields coming in. Is it only when you're close to it, or only when you hear the fan noiseor
both? If you can get some sheets of silicon steel and orient the grain the right way it can help confine the magnetic field. Another trick is to plug it into a switched outlet using an extension cord. Shut it off before you get close. Maybe set a timer or something so you don't forget to turn it back on. I wish they made mechanical timer switches that turn stuff off but I have not found one. Hi Loni,
The filters definitely helped me. I found I only needed 5 filters here. But of course, we have very few noise-makers plugged in, and none at night. I would recommend measuring the "baseline" noise level (from the neighborhood outside your home) by first getting a measurement on the GS meter, with everything turned off, except one outlet breaker _on_ _each_ _phase,_ with nothing turned on. Here, it is 35. Then turn your breakers and appliances on, and measure each phase again. Measure with fridge, without fridge, ... without computer, with computer... etc. to identify where you need filters. Then add one filter at a time as close to the noise-maker as possible, usually needing 1 or 2 to bring the GS level back down under 50. Yesterday, mom plugged her flour grinder in to a different outlet than usual, in the phase that has no filters on it, and boy did I notice, 540 GS. I went to the kitchen and plugged in 2 filters, and back to my room, felt much better. We keep a filter unplugged near the washing machine too, and only use it when plugged in and in use. Why? because I found there is a tipping point where more filters do not help, and sometimes even raise the GS level. Also experiment with plugging in (meter, then filter) at different locations around the house. Sometimes there is a harmonic that needs filtering, like a long wire leg from the center breaker box on the opposite side of the noise-maker. But since I expect few people have the blueprints to their house electrical, and know how everything is wired, then the broad blanket approach to getting 20 filters and spreading them around the entire house does make sense. Hope this helps, Stewart Loni wrote: > I am concidering purchasing the Stetzer Filters for my Home. Can anyone share their experiences with this filter with me? Loni > > |

Hi Loni,
Our power is different to yours, we have everything on 240V so the filters are like double the capacity and I have 7. There has only been a sample run for production of Australian filters and I have some of these. I think my home would take at least 12 but up to 16 would be better to get the fields down throughout the home.
