Fluorescent lighting makes me ill.

starmanxxxx
Fluorescent lighting in public/commercial/shops buildings ect leaves me in a state of ill health, symptoms include panic attacks, chronic fatigue & anxiety. Am I correct in the assumption - there is no cure except avoidance and the magnetic field generated by the lights interferes with my own internal biological electrical impulses, hence my condition. Would wearing leather soled shoes make a difference. Comments appreciated.

No, you are NOT correct in that assumption.

Ten years ago I was in the same situation as you -- I couldn't stand being
in stores for more than 5 minutes without starting to feel ill.
These days, those same stores don't bother me at all, no matter
how long I'm in them.

The archives for this group have all sorts of discussions about what
has made people feel better, and unfortunately you will
find that everyone has their own unique things that make them better.
Although you will find a lot of general commonality -- detox,
removing metals from the body, reducing your daily proximity to
metal, improved diet, reduces exposure to chemicals, nutritional
supplements, EMF protection devices, etc.

Do not assume it is the magnetic field, as fluorescent lights are also a
source of dirty power, (transient spikes on the AC mains power wiring),
dirty air (EMR in the air like wireless), and electric fields (as are
around all AC power, in differing strengths due to wiring designs).

It is a good idea to reduce exposure to all of the above, and Marc is
correct there are steps to improve your health, and reduce sensitivity,
but don't expect to be able to completely remove the sensitivity once it
has started.

Fluorescent lights make me feel extremely ill, I get a pain in my neck from it, I start feeling hypoglycemic, very tired, and later that day also lots of depression.
And that's also from even a minute near them (and energy savers).

Flourescent lights trigger vertego and migraines in me. No one can imagine how I feel when I am around them. I always dread going to stores because I know what is going to happen.
