Electromagnetic rodent repellers

joycecapey
Hi there

Am wondering if anyone has had any experience with emf rodent
repellers - they are the ones that are plugged in at the mains and then
send a pulsing emf around the house which then drives mice/rats etc
away. My neigbour has one (we are semi-detatched) and I have been
experiencing bad symptoms - any ideas about how to shield against them
would be much appreciated?

Yes, those are nasty, aren't they? I tried them once to drive away
some ants, but quickly found that I could not tolerate them.
Back then, I didn't have anything to attempt to counter them, so
I just unplugged them.

I doubt the previous suggestion (orgonite) will help any. The
various orgonite items I've tried in the past were quite agitating
to me, and caused me severe chest pains.

You can doubt all you wish but orgone has helped lots of people.

Maybe so, but I have not seen many positive reports about it
on this particular group. Yours might even be the first!

but u never really know who these people are on these groups do u
marc, they could all work for mobile phone companies and being paid
to debunk all the positive solutions.

I know that company has sold thousands of orgone generators and never
had a single one returned thats an impressive track record eh.

I also know they offer a full money back guarentee if not satisfied.

Try to not be too negative eh. You might never get better.

Hmmm, that seems overly paranoid. And I've personally tried many
of the suggestions that have reportedly worked for others here.

> I know that company has sold thousands of orgone generators and never

Not really. I never returned the orgone devices that didn't work
for me -- I just tossed them in the trash! They weren't that
expensive, and certainly not worth the effort of returning them.

It's good to see someone defending orgone here, as not even
the inventors (the Crofts themselves) would defend their
products when I reported bad reactions. And on their
website, they continued to claim that nobody had ever
reported bad reactions.

Some might say that I got better years ago. It all depends on
what your definition of "better" is... :-)

Hey marc martin tell me have you ever found anything that helps with
extreme sensitivity and if so what is it. Since this is a group
looking for solutions can you tell me if you have ever found any and
what are they.

The definition of better would obviously be are you no longer
electrically sensitive. Makes sense, yeah?

If you read some of the initial messages of this group (from 5 years
ago), you will see that I have many suggestions. You can also
read my testimonial on the "Overcoming Electrical Sensitivity"
website:

http://www.electrical-sensitivity.info/cases/MarcMartin.html

I think that my sensitivity used to indeed be "extreme". 30 minutes
of computer use would leave me fatigued and unable to do much
of anything for the next 3 days.

It's more complex than that. I know people who do NOT think
that they are electrically sensitive, but when further questioned
they admit that they cannot use a computer for longer than 2
hours at a time.

I on the other hand DO think I'm electrically sensitive, yet
with the proper devices, supplements, and diet, I can use
the computer for 8 hours a day without lingering problems.

Well, as we all know, everyone seems to be a bit different. I do
know that there have been some people on this group who responded
well to the very same things that I responded well to, and there have
also been people who report no improvement from things that I
responded well to.

And similarly, others have reported good results from things that did
not help me.

But everyone has different symptoms, because all people are unique.
Thats why your weighing in with your statement ORGONE dont work. Is
not helpful. It didnt work for you.You need to qualify this with
another statement that it has worked for others. If you are certain
it has never worked for anyone I would suggest that you are mistaken
or BIAST. People with your attitude can do harm because it has helped
some people. You are implying that it has no value and you are wrong
in this. Maybe you should think outside yourself and the supposed
experiences of 500 people on a group who you imply have all tried
orgone unsuccessfully. Give me a break marc martin, thats a good name
got a filmstar ring to it. Eh?

Yes, but I am *not* just speaking for myself. I have been on this
group for 5 years, and have read the reports of other people who
have tried orgone and it didn't help them either. So I am merely
saying that the success rate reported on this group for orgone
is poor.

On the other hand, you have an email address of
"[hidden email]", and are trying to convince
people to buy items from "lifeforcegenerators.com". So it
seems that you may not be such an unbiased source of information,
and may have a monetary interest in suggesting these items.

Someone gave me a ORGONE unit. I had to take it out of the house.
I could not stand to have it around me.

Marc~I appreciate your level headedness and advice. You have been one on

questions. I also trust your opinions.
I thank you for that~

Thanks, Amy.

A little "behind the scenes" information -- new subscribers are always
moderated, so I can make sure that they are not going to spam the group
or be obnoxious or anything. This new person, "lifeforcegenerators",
was having quite a few posts rejected due to rudeness, and finally
I had to ban him/her from the group today. I didn't create this
group to have people become insulting or making false accusations about
my motives (of course, you didn't see the nastiest posts,
but that's just as well).

I'd be perfectly happy to hear good reports about orgone -- I'm not
trying to conceal any miracle cures here... despite what some
people might think...

Thank you Marc for standing up for all of us. Many of us see you as
a vital asset to this group as you have, like you said, years of
experience in this group. You're a great resource and don't let
any 'salesman' try to tell you different.

Re: Electromagnetic rodent repellers

If you can't get the neighbor to unplug them, at least when you're home, this
is one case where a Stetzer filter *might* help. Plug them in
as close to your electric panel as possible. You'll want it on the same
phase as the neighbor's repeller (anyone experienced with panels can
try changing the phase for you if you know which breaker it is; if
the neighbor has 2 repellers you might need both phases).
Warning, though, this is certainly going to make the EMFs near
the Stetzer filter worse. Everything between the panel and the
the filter will probably be worse. But far away it could be better.
The Stetzer people recommend having an electrician add outlets
on both phases as close to the panel as possible. If this is more
than a few inches it might be worth using metal conduit or armored
wire.

Much better would be a real 3 phase AC power filter, but cheap ones
start at about $750 and if you share a wall it may not solve the problem.

If the neighbor had some Stetzer's plugged in, that might increase
his EMFs near the filters and device, but reduce yours...
