Effects of EMF"S

shezatrip63
I am curious to know how you found out you are sensitive to EMF's....
Also, what are your symptoms?
I have fibromyalgia, and other weird things happening...but,
I am not sure if it is my illess, hormones, EMF power lines,
or all of it collectively together.
It's difficult to know-
I am interested in all of your stories, of how you found out-
How you feel now, and how you felt before...Any details....
Thx!

Badly in need of cell phone advice!

Poker Addict

I am getting a new cell phone this week..  I don't feel I've made any
progress as far as figuring out ways to tolerate a phone or contain the
radiation and EMF.

Some observations:

1. The SAR values don't seem to be the main factor in how a phone "feels" to me

2. I still am confused on what shielding products are worthwhile and which ones will be rip-offs

3. Shielding is supposed to make cell phone radiation worse, according to some websites

4. Not sure if a Smart phone with low SAR is better then a basic phone with a higher SAR.

Bottom line is I'm confused as hell, and I have to buy a phone this week.  Last minute effort here to get advice.

Cheers,
Ace

trial by fire - sometimes it can take a long time to begin to make an
assosiation or rather work out  the antagonist that cuases your symptoms, a
great deal of phychosocial factors can slow down the afformentioned process,
mere subliminal acceptance that something so ubiquitous as EMR is likely to
affect you can make you carry on with what could be termed an adaption or
tolerance of ongoing harm, that in mind over matter/positive thinking where
it  has most credibility - however the old scenario of feeling ill in the
presence  of something then feeling better when not in its presence and going
through that  cycle over and over again until you eventually wave the white
flag or break,  ussually gets the message across in your mind, its a process
of elimination,  deduction, research and many other factors - in my case I
like to remind  interested parties that it was not a case of me being worried
well and  flicking through books, internet and so on and getting worried
that I  might have ES, cos I heard that mobile phone radiation or such like
was gonna  kill us all, but I went through the aforementioned process over say
6-12 months  whilst working doing computer aided design around about that
golden age of 1998  when the mobile phone infrastructure started to bloom, it
was only when  I stumbled onto info about ES approx 1999 that I was able to
look back and  say wow that makes perfect sense now what ! the rest is
history -

Well, this might not be the best place to get advise on which
cellphone to buy, since I suspect that many people here refuse
to own one!

I've got a cellphone.  I never thought the SAR values were
relevant, so I ignored them altogether.  I basically looked
for the lowest lo-tech phone I could find -- one that doesn't do
anything other than make phone calls, and has a single, small,
black & white screen.  Plus I use it as little as possible.
And when I do use it, I use it in speakerphone mode.  Plus,
when I'm using it I have some sort of EMF protection device
on my person which I've already proven to myself is helpful
to me.

The phone I have is a GSM phone -- a Nokia 1100/1112,
I think.  I know that Motorola used to make a
basic cellphone with an e-ink display that had models
for either the Verizon or AT&T Network which looked
like it might be good, but I never tried one.

How long have you been EHS or how long have you been suffering from cell phone radiation? I used to think early on that I could tolerate a phone with a lower SAR, but as the months went on I discovered that at this point in this condition, I am now so sensitive that I cannot touch any cell phone.  Plus, the radiation of other phones in my vicinity is very unpleasant.  My EHS went from my first and basically only cell phone (the worst on the market according to CNET), to feeling cell towers to getting burned by WIFI and utility solar panels and microwave ovens.  I have no problem admitting that what I have is full blown microwave sickness.  Why would I want to own a cell phone?  I had to give up the dream. Good luck with that!  Oh and by the way you might check out Arthur Firstenberg's new non-profit called The Cellular Phone Task Phone out of guess where-- Arizona!

Air tube works for me with a old 2G phone from Ebay.
Good luck.

I know there are still/again phones for sale that don't have any other
options than phone calls and SMS. They are aimed at the elderly, who
just want a phone for emergencies. But I would think that they are also
safer microwave wise. It will require some searching to find them, but
they are there.
