Effects of Digital Cameras

Cheryl Griffing-2
Hi to all,

I would like to know if any of you have experienced what I experienced today for the very first time. I was at a social event and somebody started to take pictures with a digital camera. Every time she took a picture my wholebody shook as if it was in shock, almost like an epiletic seizure. It feltlike as if I had been "zapped" every time the camera shot a picture. I felt pretty shook up but was ok within an hour or so. Does anyone know anything about this condition? I know it sounds so crazy but even everyone around me could observe something strange was going on with my body. It was anything but suttle, very obviously.

Thanks for any feedback.

Cheryl

PUK REPLIES - Was it the flash you wqere reacting to . or perhaps the
camera concerned had a wireless link to download photos. Were you next to the
camera.

I have heard that some people react to infrared, which many cameras
use to focus. If you were not close to the camera, that might be it.
If so, you may find that some TV remotes or that type of thing
could cause it too. I would like to know if you discover anything.
It might also depend on whether the room was dark?

Re: Effects of Digital Cameras

Hi Bill,

Actually the room wasn't dark. I am not sure on the focus issue as the onlytime I felt the "zap" was when the camera shot a picture. I wasn't close to the camera at the time. Just in the same room which is about 500-600 square feet.

I have read that with the T.V. remotes you must unplug the T.V. not just turn it off when not in use or the remote can harm you with the EMF. Is this true? I always unplug it just in case.

Thanks for your response,

Cheryl

It appeared to be the flash I was responding to as far as I could tell. I wasn't next to the camera and had this reaction as the pictures were shot anywhere within the 5-600 sq. foot room. I don't know about the wireless link. It was just a very small camera that had a cellphone like appearance.

Thanks,

Cheryl

PUK replies - of course if you are highly electrodosed at the time anything
un-natural such as a flash could triggger an ES response albeit not the
direct path, you of course are aware than many epileptic persons will be
effected by sudden flashes, have you checked yourself out for this condition.

PUK replies - highly unlikely re the TV remote if its as simple infared
with no screen it will only respond when a button is pressed you can see for
yourself using an AM radio

But unplugging the TV is good because it reduces dirty power.

Some tvs radiate (some) emfs all the time, or so I was told by a building biologist and an ems aware doctor, as long as the tv is plugged in.  If you get into the habit, it is a small thing to just unplug all your appliances.  And it can save alot on your electric bill over time too.  How muchdirty power would be removed from lines if all your neighbors started to adopt the same "savings" measure?!?

My 2 cents,
Diane

Wouldn't that be great if everyone would just unplug while not in use!  Maybe people will due to the economy.

I have a 60 inch LCD & it emitts a lot of EMF. Have to sit pretty far away but still get burnt.

Hi mike,

Thanks for your reply. Do you know what is causing this? Just E.S. in general? At first I thought it was just my sensitivity to bright lights butthen I realized it was far more than just that.

Re: Effects of Digital Cameras

Cheryl, No, I do not know what causes a negative reaction to digital camera.  After a year with ES, I took a picture for the first time, and my wife had this reaction.  I have a question for the group.  Does acupuncture help for es?  Are traces of metal left in the skin?  A neighbor says it is helpful.   Mike
