ES mitigation devices/materials and associated techniques

bbin37
Hi all,

I've looked through the message archive and noticed many discussions
regarding ES mitigation devices/materials and associated techniques.
I'm interested in creating a survey that will make this data more
accessible for everyone, especially newcomers to the group. The idea
is to distill what is shared in the message archive and make it easier
to evaluate the efficacy of these items based on the combined
experiences of electrosensitives.

I am familiar with the links and other resources already extant here,
so I don't want to 'reinvent the wheel'. The approach I'm posing is
to:

1. Create a list of all items we collectively have experience with.
2. Open a poll on each item asking members to rate its effectiveness
based on direct use only.
3. Create a related file for each poll recording details of the
protocol used with the item and subsequent results.
4. Create and store this information in a database with reference to
these polls and files.

We could extend this approach to include other areas of ES mitigation,
such as supplements, etc., if this survey is successful.

What are your thoughts on this, everyone?

Sounds like a good idea to me!

One of the problems with the archives is that it takes a long time to read
through, and some nugget of useful information to someone is buried amongst
all the other messages. Finding any solution which reduces the amount of
initial reading required would be a good one, whether that be a poll or a
summary or...???

I am in favour of this! I am very keen to tell people about the
device that helped me.

I think this is a very important step, as it means that every time a new
person joins the list asking for informtion they can go straight to it -
thanks! I look forward to seeing it.............
