ES and pesticides

Taliesen Waters
Hi All. A few people have mentioned a history of exposure to
pesticides and that Dr. Rea in Texas tests ES patients for pesticide
residue.

I was poisoned with a synthetic pyrethroid "bomb" being set off in my
apartment while I slept. Innocently, I later proceeded to eat off of
uncovered dishes that had been drying in the dish drainboard. Also,
it was winter so all the windows stayed closed all day.

The pesticide poisoning made me really, really ill (almost complete
inability to sleep, disabling fatigue, fevers, painful lymph nodes),
but it didn't give me ES at the time.

10 years later, I developed ES in a sudden, abrupt manner. I just
woke up and I had it and the symptoms have neither gotten worse or
better. Basically, if I use the computer, phone, vacuum cleaner, etc.
for very long, I begin to feel totally overwhelmed with sound, light,
motion and just generally extremely agitated. Can't use them at night
or I won't sleep.

Has anyone else had a delayed development of ES after pesticide exposure?

Best regards,
Taliesen

When I was a kid growing up on a farm we had DDT and a number of other
pest and herbicides. I tested high in what DDT breaks down into (DDE)
as well as other chemicals, lead, aluminum, mercury.
After years of detoxing the levels have come down but liver problems
have cropped up.
My ES started gradually over a period of 6 months after buying a new
construction home that had very bad wiring problems next to a TV/Radio
tower.
Take your pick.

Hi Taliesen,

There are certainly plenty of cases, from this group and elsewhere, of
people who have had major immune system damage, of which pesticides are one
possible source, and later developed ES and other sensitivities (chemical,
light, sound) when "triggering" events occur. Once your system has been
weakened, if it can't be treated, it seems to become a potential "time
bomb".

I guess your exposure was when someone was trying to kill off a wasps nest
or other insect infestation? I think you may have mentioned this in the past
in a previous post, but can't remember for sure - sorry.

Ian
