This article suggests that those suffering could have either anemia or kidney problems. "The hypotheses of anaemia or kidney dysfunction playing a major role in EHS could be unambiguously refuted." The question would be: are electromagnetic fields causing the problem, or is it caused by something else and then the electromagnetic fields affect the body because it's weaker. I have to say from person experience that it does look like anemia from lack of iron makes a big difference in the severity of symptoms. I think this would put vegans and vegetarians at a higher risk. I know somebody who does not want to eat meat, however was not able to get adequate iron even though supplements, and has to ear liver once in a while, as a "medicine." Surely not everyone will have this problem, as there are many vegetarians, but just something to keep in mind. Another article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26151230 suggests it is oxidative stress that is caused by RF. So antioxidants may play a role in helping. |
I had my iron levels tested and they are normal. I do eat meat though, and take Liver Glandular supplements once in a while

I did also, and the doctor said it was "normal".. but I got a copy of the report, and it was just barely above the low limit. I took a vegetarian iron supplement and it helped a lot. So, make sure you were not on the low end.. One thing to note, the supplement has B6 and B12 as well, which could also have helped. |
I just got my blood tested again yesterday, I'll check to see what my iron and B12 and folic acid levels are when I get it back

B12 test is unreliable. See http://www.easy-immune-health.com/vitamin-b-12-levels.html I just started taking it sublingually and it helped me, even though the test said I had plenty. That was a while ago though, I took some then I stopped, and now I'm happy that this iron supplement already has it.. It is very hard to absorb because it has big molecules. This is the iron I found works well: https://well.ca/products/platinum-easyiron_93332.html Iron is also a hard one to absorb and most supplements hardly work. |

Do you feel a difference when taking it? I tried also, and I had to go through several brands to find something that made a difference. "Superior Source" ones worked best from the sublinguals: https://www.vitacost.com/superior-source-no-shot-methylcobalamin-b-12 The one I settled with is KAL Liquid https://www.vitacost.com/kal-b-6-b-12-folic-acid-dropins-natural-mixed-berry-2-fl-oz Some others made me feel bad and I think I was allergic to them. |
No, didn't feel much from it, it was the Bluebonnet brand. Also took jarrow From: sailplane [via ES] <[hidden email]> To: steve <[hidden email]> Sent: Friday, June 2, 2017 9:15 AM Subject: [ES] Re: EHS Blood Findings Do you feel a difference when taking it? Maybe you already have enough if there is no difference. I go by trial and error, which is unfortunately costly, but it has worked to find a set of things that work that I take regularly. I mostly notice more energy and less fatigue. If I wouldn't take it for 2-3 days it would come back. I was vegetarian for quite a few years though, and in that time I believe the levels dropped, this is why I ended up trying it. I haven't had much luck with Bluebonnet in general, but Jarrow has been pretty good, most of their stuff has been of good quality and made a difference for me. I'm in Canada, so here we have other brands, we can't even buy those two brands in stores, only online. |

I was diagnosed with anemia long before I knew I was EHS. A mineral deficient body is going to have more difficulty coping with EMFs.

How low can the iron values go before ehs shows up. if this is the case?. And what are the ideal iron value to opt for for an ehs sufferer?
