I am curious to know if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms--
I live in a house very near one of the busiest airports in the world, with Magnetic Field readings of between 5 and 50 Milligauss (depending on how close you get to the powerlines running through my backyard) and every one of my neighbors has wi-fi; there are 50 cell towers and upwards of 450 antennae w/in a 4 mile radius of my house. EMF sufferer's nightmare, in other words. I have been sugar-free & simple-carb-free for almost 5 years, and completely grain-free for over 6 months. We do periodic cleanses, juicing, raw foods (esp. dairy) and lots of fermented foods as well. I think it's safe to say our diet is pretty healthy. I've tried numerous products to help with my EMF symptoms. They either did nothing or only helped for a few months. Now, in addition to the usual sleep disturbance, chest tightness, headaches, etc., I have been having dizzy spells. They come on quite suddenly, out of nowhere. I get this funny feeling in my upper chest--not painful, just sort of like when you're really excited about something and you get that gaspy sort of feeling--and then I get very lightheaded. Sometimes it lasts only a second or two, sometimes it lasts for hours. Sometimes it is severe enough that I have to sit down. Fortunately, I have not lost consciousness from it yet, but I am very afraid I might. Again, there is no pain when this is happening, and aside from the normal chest tightness, my breathing is not affected; however, breathing deeply (to the extent possible) does not help dissipate the problem. I am nearly certain this is connected to my EMF problems, and though I would love to go to a doctor and try to figure it out, I have a very strong sense that any tests they run will be inconclusive, because I have no other symptoms to indicate any heart problem, etc., and I am young--only 35--so I don't think it's age related... So I took a look at the archives and I saw some posts describing lightheadedness, but I wanted to know if what I am describing is indeed a common symptom, or not... Thanks for your help, Lisa |

I used to have EMF dizziness... I'm not sure what cured it, because I was addressing multiple weaknesses simultaneously (e.g, adrenal, thyroid, digestive, glucose tolerance, parasites). Plus, I have a couple EMF protection devices which have proven helpful to me longterm (Quantum Products being the most helpful overall) Marc |

I would do a work up with you doctor first just to exclude organic causes .

Yes, I do have dizzy spells every few weeks or so. Once I was just standing
there feeling fine, then fell into a wall. So for me-it's par for the course, but can't say for everyone! Amy No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the congress is in session. Wow Lisa you are just bombarded. I feel for you. Don't know about the dizziness but quite sure it is from the exposure.
I, too, am frightened because my skin burns every day. I live in the city. Highly electrical area also. I have had skin cancer & have numerouse more growths on my head but no health insurance at this point. I got approved for disability but I don't get medicare for 2 years. go figure, they want to make sure you die before they have to fork over any more money. Can you move Lisa? How do you feel when you get away to the country? Hi, Lisa,
I don't know whether this is a common symptom, but I do get it and it does seem to come on as you say, with funny feeling in my chest. I know that "funny feeling" as going along with anaphylaxis and asthma (Marc here associates it with anxiety attacks). Either way, tho, it is another on a long list of autonomic nervous system complaints that goes with ES. Dizziness fits into that category as well. If you try taking your pulse and blood pressure when the dizziness and the breathing problem affects you, you may also find those are abnormal, as well. Some here say their bp rises, but mine definitely plummets--sometimes really severely. I have also found that fatigue comes on after these symptoms, and then most often chills--after I am away from the offending frequencies. The fatigue from this can last days afterward, as can the low bp, unless I take pantethine andcalcium AEP to help raise it. Do these additional symptoms seem to ringa bell with you? PS: forgot to write it--the dizziness can also be from lack of oxygen dueto the breathing problem; but the autonomic nervous system does also control some functions which cause dizziness--such as orthostatic hypotension (which can cause blacking out and passing out).

Hi Lisa
First of all you have my sympathy in terms of the EMF soup like environmentyou are living in. It cannot be good for you and my heart goes out to you.Secondly, I'd say that when I first became ES one of the first symptoms I experienced was something very similar to what you are describing - I wouldn't have said mine was actual dizziness or lightheadedness but certainly a feeling of chest tightness, without any pain, and a difficulty in getting my breath and a feeling of what I would describe as anxiety [when I had no reason at all to feel that way] which I tried to quell with yoga and deep breathing and gentle walking to no effect. My only relief was to leave the house for 3-4 weeks and when I went back that feeling at least had gone but the ES feelings were still there. It is extremely worrying nad it can'tbe doing you any good. I am sure it is not feasible or maybe even economically possible but have you thought of trying to move house to a better environment? I hope that by the time you get this post things have subsided a bit and become more comfortable for you. Best wishes Steph --- On Tue, 17/2/09, lthngsbrtnbtfl2 <[hidden email]> wrote: From: lthngsbrtnbtfl2 <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] Dizzy spells have me frightened... Sorry for not following up--I've been away from the computer most of
the week... I do get the sense that it is a low blood pressure issue, though I do not have any way of confirming this. (Perhaps I should invest in a bp monitor?) It does not seem to be a breathing issue, despite the strange sensation in my chest at the very beginning. I have fatigue in general, particularly after the poor sleep I get; however, I would not say that these dizzy spells lead to fatigue... As far as relocating, there is nothing I would like better than to move; however, the decision is completely out of my hands, as my husband still does not believe in my condition despite having shown him meter readings that have confirmed my body's "readings". I have gone to great lengths to search for feasible alternatives, but at the end of the day, he quite simply doesn't want to move. The situation is further complicated by the fact that we have 5 young children (two of which, unsurprisingly, suffer from nervous system disorders--autism and dyslexia--and the others go through bizarre periods of hyperactivity). It is a good thing that I have a very deep faith, or the stress from this alone would be quite overwhelming...I know that if it is meant to be for us to move, it will happen somehow. If not, then I will just have to do the best I can where I'm planted. Thank all of you for your comments and suggestions...it is very comforting to be able to discuss these things in a group like this, as no one I know is at all familiar with such things.
