By the way, both myself & Derek Bishop of singingmountain.org (
http://www.singingmountain.org/y2003sep27.html) weren't helped by various EMF protection devices. We both have found that avoidance works best. So have other ES, such as Dr. Firstenberg who now lives in New Mexico and many Swedes. Anyone with computer monitor symptoms is welcome to add their testimonial (including brand/model/year/etc.) among my guestbook testimonials - this might serve as a collective reference guide enabling people to know which ones to avoid: http://www.lemnet.com/guestbooks/view/?user=monitorp&book=1a&mode=sign

There are probably at least 100 such devices being sold today, and of the dozens I've tried, some helped, some appeared to do nothing, and some made things worse. > We both have found that avoidance works best. To me, avoidance isn't really a "solution", but something you do until you find a solution. For me, avoidance would mean moving to the middle of nowhere, selling the TV, stop using the computer, quit my job, etc. I have done none of these things. There are some minimal avoidance things that I can get away with -- moving the computer monitor 3 feet away from me instead of 2, unscrew the florescent lightbulbs above my desk at work, but that's about it... > Anyone with computer monitor symptoms is welcome to add their > testimonial (including brand/model/year/etc.) among my guestbook > testimonials - this might serve as a collective reference guide > enabling people to know which ones to avoid: I wonder how helpful that would be, since everyone seems to react to different things. For example, I do far better with CRT monitors than LCD monitors (in general), although I repeatedly read others saying that LCD monitors work better for them. Marc |
Marc, and the others, have you seen those links before?! A rather extensive source of information regarding ES... It is not systematic as, say, www.feb.se, but probably deserves adding to our "links" section... I liked this text the best, it's very similar to the one on Tao Healing explanation (we had some months before): http://www.elcollie.com/st/super.html (Explaining hypersensitivity as related to Kundalini arrousal. Confirming our previous conclusion that spirituality has to do... something... with our condition. ) Drasko ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marc Martin" <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2005 11:47 PM Subject: Re: [eSens] Computer monitor testimonials > > By the way, both myself & Derek Bishop of singingmountain.org ( > > http://www.singingmountain.org/y2003sep27.html) weren't helped by > > various EMF protection devices. > > It would be more helpful if we knew exactly which ones you tried > that did not help. It's merely related to which particular brand anyone has (there's many permutations, i.e. ES people combined with bad LCD/CRT NON-ES people combined with bad LCD/CRT, ES people combined with good LCD/CRT (you get the picture... Which is why you'll hear different feedback from different people, each from their own perspective. Proof of the pudding: Anyone is welcome to keep tabs on the keyword-searches of visitors to the site via the link I provided (there's also a sample screenshot on the site itself. By the way, the reason you may not see "CRT" as a keyword, is because not too many people even know what a CRT is. They'll merely type "computer monitors" as their search term. Most helpful of all would be a large collection of focused testimonials such as on my guestbook. It would be great if someone would create a Survey-Suite style survey, since my LemNet guestbook isn't too professional looking. That's because it's remote-hosted & free, so the look is limited to LemNet's offering. P.S. I've also, of course, experienced a raw throat & suspect some of the culprits to be, not just computer monitors, but also portable phone(plus base) right nearby, or else due to the printing emissions of HP laser printer - also nearby my work area.
