Cell phones/petitions/avoiding metal for sleeping

f_gelber
Cell phones: It appears that hospitals and medical offices usually have a sign posted requesting cell phones to be turned off and therefore the powers that be must acknowledge the pollution emitted by these gadgets. I do not know whether the cell phones interfere with medical equipment or whether the employees and patients need to be safe.

Petitions: Also, there exist websites where one can initiate a petition. If someone wants to get something going, at least the rest of us in the group can sign.

Sleeping safety: As far as safety sleeping, from where and how does one find a mattress, foundation and bed frame free of metal? I believe that residential buildings have to have electrical outlets every ten feet. Thus our homes are wired in all walls. If we place the bed in the center of the room, it can still be close to the nails in the floor boards in an upper level. Also there can be wiring for the light fixture for the room below.

Lots of places... for the mattress, you can buy a latex mattress,
memory foam (e.g. Tempurpedic), or air (e.g. Sleep Number).  For
the frame, just get wood -- I don't think the small amount of
metal used in wood frames (e.g. screws) is that problematic.

I'm not sure what hospital still uses this policy...but I can assure you that it has nothing to do with cell phone safety at this time.  Most doctors know nothing about or deny that there is any potential health threat regarding cell phones or WIFI.

My hospital has plenty of accomodations for cell phones and is a complete "hotspot."  It's always a gas to see the stroke patients and seizure patients or the patients that just had brain surgery shrouding themselves in cell phone and WIFI radiation because it's so much fun, this grand new world we live in.

There was a time before WIFI when these hospitals as with airplanes, weren't sure if the RF would interfere with other nearby technologies, but apparantly the answer was okay because now they have gone 360 on the notion.

Peace,
Pam

Pamela,

I don't know what any of us on this list would do if we needed surgery. We'd feel so sick, we could hardly stand it.

I don't think it's anything to joke about. I get sarcastic or should say livid,  b/c the solution is sooo simple.  They can care for patients all they want, but come on. the sick get sicker there.

I am going to write hospital boards w copies to my legislators.

Oh yes, isn't that just insane? They even have ipod pads or some kind of wireless pads to track meds, ect. And I have seen many antennas on their roofs as well. Then they WONDER why
patients succomb to these life threatening staph infections! Well, gee golly..with all the wireless radiation exposures, its a wonder anyone comes out ALIVE! With all the nasty germs, micro toxins now being MULTIPLIED by the radiation. Mainstream hospitals today are the definition of INSANITY!

Kathy, my dear,

I am sooo frustrated.  I feel that I am there for a reason, but until I can get stronger with this EHS, I don't like confrontations.  I am one of the lowest positions on the totem pole and could easily be fired if I raise the roof.  Plus, I wouldn't have the means to sue them. But if you can get something going I would gladly offer myself as an intermediary because... it's so absurd, what goes on.  Hospitals thrive on making people sick, just like BIG pharma pimps to exploit disease.

For some of us, sarcasm IS survival in a world that is replete with self proclaimed ignorance -- STUPITY RULES... I am the scapegoat.  B-------T!  The good news is that some people's behavior that I work with has improved when I'm around.  They are more cognizant of the fact that they may be harming me (this is after 4 years).  But overall, it has been a drag to be the phone and laptop police.  I don't even mention it to the doctors because theirs is such an environment of arrogance--I find it cripples me.  While I am venting, I also find distaste in concepts like the FDA, WHO, CDC, NIH and any auxiliary branch of the medical profession.  It's all too corrupt!  What, they allow institutions like the FCC and the Energy Dept. to set standards for human and environmental health standards when these are not even medical or health establishments.

If I sound angry...believe me, I'm not.  And it's only because of my sacred cloth from Less EMF that allows me to continue functioning as an almost normal human being.  But it does nothing to protect my eyes which get constantly attacked by certain frequencies.  Still I feel blessed.

Have a great week!
Pam

Re: Cell phones/petitions/avoiding metal for sleeping

Pam,

I'm sorry, it must be almost impossible to work there. Knowing what you do, and watching the medical system look the other way has to be a joke.

I was in one for 48 hours to do heart monitoring last year. Didn't  know they had wi-fi, I wasn't full blown ES yet. Wondered why my legs jerked there. Had tingling & mild pain from the wireless heart monitor.

The nurse said it was impossible to feel the signal from the wireless device.  I told her my nerve endings are sensitive, had shingles symptoms the year before. She told me to talk to a psychiatrist, insisted they can't be that sensitive. The level of ignorance is something.

Send am email. I am serious about writing the letters.

I'd love to hear what you do.

WE all have solid reasons for being both angry and frustrated.
At the same time, I think we have all been forced to scrape the
barrel of our souls, for all of this compassion, inner strength we
didn't know we had, to come to the surface.
All the more reasons we will so enjoy all the blessed changes
that are coming. I can't imagine that I chose this, or signed on
to this. But if this is true, then at least I'm in excellent company.
I stand with some of the strongest people I've ever met. You guys!
Changes are coming. The Tide Has Turned folks.
Some of these changes will be quite shocking to many. But one thing
I feel very strongly is that the Tide Has Turned. And its turned in OUR
FAVOR. Soon, we will have this truth in front of us, for all to see.
For all of our suffering in the world of ES, and global suffering,
For every time each one of us has offered help on this forum, or
someplace else, we have left indelible marks on humanity.
We have spoken with our hearts, even when it felt like our hearts
were breaking.
Know that all of this energy, born of frustration, shines a huge light
for all to see. Our work has not gone un-noticed. Indeed, we have
all played a role in this beacon of light.
Collectively, this light has grown and grown. Many have been helped
who wouldn't have been, without everyone's contributions.
So I stand proud to know all of you.
Lizzie

RE: Cell phones/petitions/avoiding metal for sleeping

Thanks Pam! Love your inputs!
Where've I been...well, I pushed myself a little too hard and ended up with what I'd call a case of
pre-pneumonia. Never had pheumonia before, but luckily I recognized the symptoms early enough
to nip it in the bud. This is a fair warning to those, who start feeling very well, and push the boundaries
with wireless exposures. (which I did). Long story short, I took extra adrenal support, did the breathing
in of Baking Soda & Magnesium Chloride Oil in hot water pan- towel draped over the head and pan,
rubbed a very potent Eucalyptus essential oil blend on chest at night, got plenty of rest, and within 2 days,
I was 70% improved and within 4 days 90% improved. Let's hear it for Natural remedies!
Blessings,
Lizzie

I sure love your optimistic attitude.  It's hard for me to see things getting better anytime soon.  The age of Aquarius is only just beginning.  Electricity and future are the themes of Uranus, not to mention the destruction of species and cataclysmic events.  By the end of Aquarius approximately 2150 years, there should be far fewer human beings left on the planet (which has to bode well for every other living thing) maybe that's the upside.  It's not that I am anti-people, I am just pro nature and respect for life. People are rooted in ego-based pursuits these days, another driving factor of Aquarius which also rules individuality.  The hope is that the renown humanitarian aspects will gain steam as the age moves onward.

Oh and thank you so much for honoring those of us who sign onto eSens.  I totally agree with you!

Have a great week!

Peace,

Pam

I swear by them.  I haven't had health insurance in 30 years.  I usually just use lemon juice and grapefruits for everything, while popping up to 8,000 mg of vitamin c when needed.  I find that echinacea is wonderful also, with astagalus.  I wish I could get decent sleep where I live.  Between all of the WIFI, bad vibes, cell phone and geostress, I am having a fit.  I probably need to bring in a dowser to see if he could make it more inhabitable, but I would rather find a new place than invest anymore money into a dead end.

Well. we certainly must enjoy obstacles, because we certainly endure many of them.

Also, one day you will have to really bring me up to speed with this dermal magnesium that you rave about.  My mom recently stated with the heart palpitations and blood pressure episodes.  The geostress is godless where they live and magnesium deficiency has often been a problem of mine.

Take care and good to see ya back!

Blessings,
Lizzie

Oh yes, isn't that just insane? They even have ipod pads or some kind of wireless pads to track meds, ect. And I have seen many antennas on their roofs as well. Then they WONDER why
patients succomb to these life threatening staph infections! Well, gee golly..with all the wireless radiation exposures, its a wonder anyone comes out ALIVE! With all the nasty germs, micro toxins now being MULTIPLIED by the radiation. Mainstream hospitals today are the definition of INSANITY!

Well, apparently you need a reminder of great people!
Go look in the mirror! There's proof that there is HOPE!
Everyone on here could have just crawled into a corner and
laid down. And sure, there were times we probably did do
that! But only tlll the head ache or whatever it was that ate
our energy got better. We came out of that dark corner
and We kept ON trucking, kept on researching,
kept on trying to help others. Everytime I see people jump in on here,
to offer some help, I SEE THE TURNING OF THE TIDES!
It would have been so much easier to say, screw it....I'm mad! I'm sick.
And I don't care anymore!
But did we do that? No! We said Enough is Enough! No more pain. No more
suffering. Or at least we can put our heads together and find a way out.
Do you see how this kind of out pouring of compassion is CONTAGIOUS?
We may be ESsers, but we are also a symbol of strength, of unity,
of caring, and all of that comes from the heart. Everytime you, Marc,
Bruno, Stewart, Kathy, Diane, Elysia, Superdove, Loni, urban, emrawaee, Debbie, furstc, ester,
jd, epic, giorgio, torch, shivani, electricforce, paul, glitter, kumara, sradv,
and every other person on here
shares an experience, offers suggestions, that energy gets bigger.
It grows.
I don't know whether this is the AGe of Aquarius, or if we all signed on,
but one thing I do KNOW: If someone wants/needs help, this is the place to
come, no one gets turned away, no one gets told their illness isn't real,
everyone gets offered a plate.

RE: Cell phones/petitions/avoiding metal for sleeping

Hello Lizzy,

That was truly beautiful. I didn't realize that you were referring to this specific group.  Of course, you are right there are many brave, caring people who "get it."  This is a good age.  Bodhissatvas are people who are compassionate enough to put the sufferings of others before their own pleasure.  These are the people notably referred to as "saints."

You are so right when you mention how we "jump in and help."  This is a beautiful hopeful place.  Like I said, I went to some of the other spaces on line and this place is "alive."  It's 24/7.  We should do internet "talk radio"  and we could share these things vocally.  I'm not there yet.  But I certainly feel these voices should be heard.

Then other quizzical people could listen in to this totally unique cultural experience that most of us had to learn to live with just as any person finding their lives turned completely upside for no known fault of their own.

I know plenty of ESers fighting on the frontlines even though they may not be a part of this ongoing discussion.  I'd be happy just to feel better, but the world that we find ourselves in demands much much more.  Maybe that's why we had to get this condition in this time.  How many of us would even have noticed if this hadn't happened to us.  So, if in fact we did karmically choose this, then we are amongst the most caring.  Empathy is a high form of compassion when acted upon.  Thank you for your insights.

Have a lovely evening,
Pam

Peace,

Pam

Thanks.
Its been my favorite book store!
Speaking of radio, my smart meter activists friends will
be on radioliberty.com at 6pm MI time tonight.
 (that's radio Liberty)
Mich also has a bill being sponsored to opt out the entire state.
You can find it here at: www.4WAR.com

Have a lovely evening,
Pam

Pam

Lizzie

Pam
