Cell phone protectors

Has there been a consensus on here if the "phone sock" fabric pouches
or leather pouches people can keep their cell phones in, do they just
make the signal stronger while they are on the phone?  or when they are
not?

The Lessemf company claims they greatly reduce the amount of RF on the
side of the head the phone is, but maybe it is increased by the tower?

Trying to understand, to help the young adults in my family any way I
can, who refuse other cell phone advice  :(

I'm sorry. I looked at this cell phone bag, and I don't get it.How does this product block radiation, and yet the phonegets a strong enough signal to still work?Seems like an oxymoron to me. If the bag is designed to blockradiation, how does the cell phone work then? Because either it blocks radiation or it doesn't.Which is it? Lizzie

I don't have a lot of "hands on" experience with cellphones, but it seems
to me that the best solution is to be able to use it when it is as far away
from your head as possible.  So use it in speakerphone mode, or buy
an air tube/mic setup:

thanks Marc!  I'm thinking of the aspect of my sons who carry it in
their pocket, would a leather holder case thing help--i think ideally
they just should never keep it on their person--but trying to work with
what they are willing to do...

i'd like to put an EMF meter to it and see if it
reduces the EMF.  i've yet to find any type
of speaker that is not high EMF.

The cell phone carriers I have seen are shielded only on the side that goes against the body.  The phone is still fully active to send/receive.
Phone lovers have their phones with them/on all the time, and many carry them right on their bodies.
I gasped when I noticed my niece sticking her phone between her breast and her bra. She seems oblivious to my comments about risks to her health...seems true of the general population -- phone covers that sell are more for decoration or drop-protection.
