Can it be the satellite dish?

sky_watch
At night I turn off and unplug my computer and peripherals, my cell phone, TV and smart DVD player.

After all that I still get shocked and burned by, well, I'm not sure what by.

Last night I flipped the breakers at the main electrical box and after a while I was able to enjoy a rather comfortable night's sleep. It didn't happen right away. Do any frequencies have a residual effect?

The worst time for my EMS symptoms is beginning around 6:00 pm till midnight. It used to be different times, more like 9:00 pm till midnight.

I noticed my neighbor has a satellite dish atop their home. Do those type devices emit anything which could be causing my discomfort in my home?

Some times I feel I'm not conveying my meaning clearly so bear with me!
Peacefulness,
Kay

That's an interesting question... most people would say that they do NOT
have a residual effect, but there are a few people I've seen who insist
that they do.  Also, it may take awhile for your body to adjust to
the improved environment.

Yes, we've seen several people complain about their neighbors satellite
dish antennas.  I've even seen people complain about dishes that are
installed but not active, with symptoms improving when the dishes
are taken down.

Thanks, Marc!

It always makes me feel a little 'saner' when someone helps with questions I have.

My family thinks I'm imagining it all so I've stopped sharing with them and with friends I keep it to myself.

Say, while I have your ear! Some time ago I read somewhere about asking the electric company to put some type (I don't recall the term used) of device, (and I may not have remembered this correctly) near the output of the electric service and where the service is going. But it's not a shield between the meter at my dwelling and my dwelling. I know that's a rather sketchy description but if I can find out what that device is I would try contacting my electric service provider because I believe they are part of my problem.

I thought maybe I had read about the device at Jeromy Johnson's website or in Steven Magee's book"Curing Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity. So may look again at those two sources.

Anyway, thanks again!
Peacefulness,
Kay

I'm not sure what type of device you're referring to... some people use smart meter guards to shield their meters, and I guess one could put in "whole house electrical line filter", but it seems like hardly anyone does that sort of thing, and I don't even have a link handy for that sort of thing... possibly you're talking about an "on-demand circuit breaker", which would automatically disable the power on that circuit if there is nothing consuming power on that circuit?

I held my cornet meter a few feet from a satellite dish which was on a front lawn next to a house I was considering, and the RF was off the scale huge!  So basis that I would say yes to your question...and even plugged in I would say yes...but not plugged in...I would scratch my head...

I've found that the radiation factor depends on what service the satellite dish is providing.  Is it for just receiving TV - which appears OK RF wise, or is it a two-way communication type which transmits and receives internet/TV which is very high RF.

I have heard that it depends on the way it's aimed also. Yes the internet ones are worse. I get after effects. Someone came in a couple years back w/ a terrible Ipad and I had a mini stroke that night. Before that I went to a food co-op and almost passed out-had a headache for 3 days. To me it's sort of like getting hit w/ a hammer: ouch! and then the bruise comes and then swelling etc..
