It's possible that you might have a bad reaction to most "multi-vitamin" pills -- at least the ones which are loaded with mega-doses of synthetic extracts. I know that I have to stick to the more natural vitamins (food being the most natural of all!), and in more "normal" doses (e.g., 100% of the RDA, not 10000%) Marc |

Hi Giorgio
This is intriguing. An electrophysiologist - what is that and where do you get one??? Should have said in my earlier post on supplements that I use as a multivitamin the Multibionta formula which you can buy anywhere even in Tesco. I dook on it and don't seem to have any bad reactions that i am aware of. Whatsort of bad reaction did you have to the Holland and Barret one? How were you affected? sounds a bit one the anyphyalacitc shock side?? What was the formulation you used in Australia? Marc talks about "Cellfood" which I have heard of on other forums but don't know anything about but again I reckon it would be online ordering too.

And if you try it, make sure to be cautious at first -- although the recommended daily dose is 24 drops per day, I had quite a strong reaction at first with just one drop a day. Marc |

Hi, Giorgio,
The same has been true for me, tho I did react badly to particular nutrients when I first began them. After going from very low doses (I repacked very small amounts of nutrient capsules into new empty capsules, slowly increasing the doses), there seems no end to the amount of supplementation mybody loves! ;) (As a celiac, tho, I also know I went decades with with a compromised gut, leading to multiple nutrient deficiencies--a couple of which I nearly died from. This might be part of what sets me apart from other ESers here, as far as nutrient use.) I am also looking into the calcium channel problems. I have found some interesting tj info relating to this and will try to send it today. I am currently on my homeopathic doctor's orders not to use any electronics, so I am way behind on email and research I had been doing into this subject. (Was not to use electronics at all for a week. I am now only supposed to use electronics less than 4 hours every 3 days, but that includes also the washer/dryer.... not just the computer. Gees, I have been soooo bored! I guess I use electric alot more than I thought!) My 2 cents, Diane --- On Mon, 1/26/09, giorgio <[hidden email]> wrote: From: giorgio <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] Re: Buying supplements and vitamins in the uk?
