Avoid chemicals in floss

Floss I've been using for years (oral-b glide) is now known to contain cancer causing chemicals:

As we all know fluoride is anti-life. I'll have to switch to a water-jet type flossing machine.. if anybody finds a chemical free floss let me know. Time to scrutinize every thing we touch in our daily life.. I thought I had everything covered and I was still exposing myself to fluoride. Teeth and gums are very important to keep healthy.. putting fluoride on them is terrible.

According to Dr Jack Kruse avoiding fluoride is essential, especially for ES.

I can't tell for sure if its 100% chemical free, but at least I don't feel any sideeffects from Johnson & Johnson Dentotape original 100m bought from local pharmacy. It's waxed though, dont know what that wax is made up of but I feel fine about it. Anyway I rinse my mouth with water afterwards.

Tried the oral b toothpaste and that was real bad chemically wise. Couldnt tolerate it.

Mine are too, and I use Colgate Total floss. It's a tape floss that's thinner than Glide, and it has less odor and flavor. I have a Waterpik that I use, but I think that the floss works better.

Stores here don't stock it, so I buy it on Amazon or eBay. Colgate also makes a waxed floss under the same brand name, but I have never bought any.

Karl, it's my understanding with Colgate "Total" products that the Total means the product includes protection againt cavities (fluoride), gingivitis and plague (triclosan). Do I have that wrong?

That's total in the toothpaste with tons of stuff to "treat" everything... the floss is just floss.

hi i just wanted to ask, do you think Hammerite metal paint would block waves if you painted it on your doors and walls ? this is what it is called here in england you can use it on metal,plastic and wood what do you think ?

That's how I found out about it too. Teflon is supposed to be pretty chemically inert at normal temperatures, but I'm not a chemist and can't personally vouch for that. It can release fluorine at higher temperatures (like in non-stick cooking pans),so that's where I would be most concerned about it.

It's best to post this in a separate thread.

I haven't tried Hammerite, but Rust-Oleum zinc paint does not block RF as far as I can tell.

I don't know but I'd rather be safe than sorry.. I just posted another thread about "Healing is voltage" that talks about how important teeth are to overall body health. It seems we'd want to protect the teeth very carefully for good health if what he says is true.
