Another Helpful Supplement - Glutathione Precursors

bbin37

I've been having good results with glutathione precursors, a mix of 3
free form amino acids that provide cells with what they need to make
glutathione. This avoids problems you can encounter by ingesting
glutathoine directly, or taking one of the amino acids, NAC, alone. I
get the pre-mixed ratio in capsule form from a company called CFS
Nutrition, www.cfsn.com. They ship internationally, too.

If you want to make the mix yourself, here are the ingredients per
capsule:

N-acetyl L-cysteine aka 'NAC' -- 257 mg
L-glutamic acid -- 128 mg
L-glycine -- 64mg

A 4:2:1 ratio.

Beau,
My doctor gave me a copy of an abstract titled :
Glutathione: Systemic Protectant Against Oxidative & Free Radical Damage. The document is fairly technical & very enlightening concerning the huge importance of glutathione.
The abstract is 33 pages long but well worth reading.
It tells of all the precursers that can be taken to boost glutathione, discusses oral & IV administration of glutathione, & states that Vitamin C can essentially protect the cells in cases of glutathione deficiency & glutathione can do the same in cases of vitamin C deficiency.
One other interesting thing mentioned was that one very potent generator of free radicals that depletes glutathione is "ionized radiation". It mentions specifically x-rays & sunlight but I wonder whether the frequencies of electrical & wireless radiation wouldn't also be classed a ionized radiation as well?

Oops. I forgot to include the web address of the paper I just mentioned in my last post. It is: www.thorne.com/altmedrev/fulltext/glut.html

Thanks for the great article on glutathione, John. :)

With respect to ionizing EM radiation, the frequencies of power
transmission lines and wireless emissions are far below the ionizing
threshold. Frequencies need in the ultraviolet and above.

Re: Another Helpful Supplement - Glutathione Precursors

Glenn Coleman
Dr. Cherry in New Zealand has scientific evidence to show that EMF makes our
melatonin ineffective at cleaning out free radicals. This implies that
although the EMF may not directly cause creation of free radicals, it
reduces the ability of our melatonin, and leaves free radicals running free
so in effect is causing a problem with free radicals.
