wireless network

Paresh
Hi - Sometime I am going to need to have a simple network installed - wired or wireless - to connect 1 device with my computer so it can run with the computer turned off. I seem to be OK with wireless as long as I disable the wireless radio transmitter (whatever it's called). Does this need to be enabled for a wireless network to work even if the computer is turned off? Sorry, I don't really understand how they work. My main question is - which has less emf in this situation - wired or wireless? Thanks!!
blessings,
Paresh

If you have something that requires to communicate wirelessly, then you're
going to have to turn on the wireless transmitter on your router/hub.
Although if that device can work with a wire (ethernet, USB), then it
would probably be better from an ES standpoint to use a wire and leave
the wireless turned off.
