You just plug it in to the dryer plug in and then plug the dryer into this unit. They say it is as good as one that connects directly to the breaker box. If you can install the unit yourself there is another unit which installs directly to the breaker box which sells for 88.88 plus shipping.

It has two red power lines and one green ground wire which are 12 awg. They are stranded wire. Which means you'll probably want to connect it to solid wire and then tun it to the breaker box. I put mine on a 2-pole heavy duty 30 amp rated switch so I can turn the unit on or off without turning it off at the breaker box.
I can definitely feel a difference in the energy in the entire house. It also opens up my sinus's which is always a good sign. EMF seems to clog up my sinus's and my ears.
