Would they all be worse than the wired optical one I'm using now? The pain/coldness is coming from the mouse itself internally or from dirty electricity traveling through the cord. I moved it as far from the tower as I could and my hand still hurt horribly after a few minutes resting on it. I'll try ferrite beads on the cord as soon as I can get a hold of some, but if it doesn't help I'll need to make a purchase. I thought with a remote control IR wireless device I may be able to sit 6 feet or so from the computer, except when typing. I think the RF one would be a bad idea. Trying to get away from the optical laser too. I think this would help a lot. My Dish Network TV remote is infrared and it doesn't seem to bother me...
