to Katrina re. light that's safe and brighter

Katrina wanted to know what to use besides a candle.
We have two solar-rechargeable lanterns from LEDtronics that we love.
Get the one with a cluster of wsrm light LEDs at the top of the lantern, not
the one with a strip of garish LEDs. And don't get the electrical
recharger. It will fry your lantern, as it does not stop when the battery is
charged. -Not to mention that it creates nasty frequencies to use a transformer.
This lantern is bright enough to read by if you place it right by your
book. Using two of them is more comfortable.
Do not get a battery-operated fluorescent lantern! Fluorescents
create horrid frerquencies. I got one by accident and it made the radio scream
like a banshee from quite a distance.
