To follow up, I continue to be satisfied with the Sejin Electron Inc IR keyboard.
Except for the trackball imperfection that likes to get caught in the roller.

Like many others, the Roller PS2 mouse with separator has been far better than the modern day norms.
Still not quite enough for my taste.
I still want total separation for the mouse like the IR keyboard.

That Nata Technologies FMRI Mouse system for $3k (if you add a scroll wheel) is hard to justify, unless you are wealthy, a government entity, or a medical facility/hospital where money is no object.  

I've searched high and low in the MRI and medical computer equipment supplier offerings, various online computer tech stores in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwon.  Any form of searching I could think of, and to my amazement there is no other Wireless IR Mouse.  The Nata FMRI mouse is the only one.

Instead, you find how much of a monopoly the usual brands have across the earth.  Like LG, Logitech, etc.  
All the other no name China brand mice follow along the same usual 2.4 wireless, bluetooth, or standard chorded.

But that is where most of the demand and $$ is.  

Until there is a successful big mass demand for change like the organic, no artificial anything, or gluten free food markets then its looking like we will stay the course.
