Actually, Roku updated their firmware, so there are some settings that turn off the RF.  The only remaining issue is that you need to get the infrared remote and not the RF remote, since the RF remote won't work if you turn off all the RF.

(this is talking about the Roku boxes, I don't have any experience with the TVs with Roku built in)
