Ah I see, I feel some heat on mine but there's no fan or anything, it's the typical xfinity router. We do have TV that relies on the 5 Ghz band and I disabled the I believe 3.2 ghz one a long time ago. Guess it's just something to play around with. But in general I'm really liking this thing and it was well worth the money. Felt like I was taking a real gamble getting it because I've tried another on Amazon that was popular before and it barely did squat. . It's better if you have a double layer of the fabric over much of what you're using the thing on which it's big enough to fold over and use it for what I'm using it for now. One side away from me isn't as fully covered but I found that if I block what is incoming in my direction it still helps dampen things a lot.

I didn't really know what to do about grounding which I noticed was an issue at first because after putting it on I was able to feel some sort of different field from the covering which I noticed you were even able to see messing with the camera on my cell phone if you pointed it at it that was only kind of annoying but I found a large pair of pliers I had, a metal paper clip, and a brass material arcade token I found sitting around which I wrapped the body of the paper clip around. Then I just tightly clamped it in with a part of the fabric by the end of the wiring like piece leading to the body with coin and it's ghetto as hell but that solved the issue. Did the phone test again and it for sure wasn't in my imagination and got taken care of so for anyone that decides to get one of these things just be aware of this too.
