Yes, he mentioned the antenna is just an add on and the inside still resonates, but you can use the antenna to lay near cabling or other electronics to enhance the field greater.

He mentioned it was for holistic health and then changed marketing for AV.  Just like you stated... He seemed genuinely shocked about my condition and that others, in fact MANY people could be in need of these devices...
