I think he said this in a Dutch video i once saw.
"something" should be measurable for sure, but it will be an extremely small amount.
We know the battery eventually dies just by being in there, in a month or maybe more.. so it is using the battery as it waits for the power button to be pressed and a chip is active listening for that. But it's not wifi or anything very strong at all.  Maybe it has to do with the fact that I use this laptop all day long so I'm more sensitive to it.
I seem to be most sensitive to equipment that I was most exposed to.
