I continue to read his Liver Rescue book, that is VERY dense with information.
It's by far, his best book, in my opinion.
It's the best book I ever read concerning the functioning of the human body.
The preface is written by an MD, who thanked Anthony for understanding better about the liver.
There are other MDs now using his books to treat patients.
His first book may sound like crap at first because he can't go deep into each theme, but if you arrive to read Liver Rescue, you'll see that the picture he paints makes A LOT of sense.
It all fits in like a glove.
He says that ALL cancers start in the liver.
That liver cancers are NEVER secondary (even if they may appear after say, breast cancer).
Why do we need to know about the liver? Because of our toxic world.
Every body's liver is compromised due to man made toxins, radiation, bad food, bad drinking habits....
You can't heal the gut before healing the liver.
Nor the brain, if the liver is compromised. Or the nervous system.
It all depends on how many toxins and fats are circulating in the body. Toxins and fats are one type of problem, pathogens that GROW on dirty blood + dirty body are another.
The liver is the organ number 1 to clean the body. What the kidney and gut do is very little compared to the liver.
That is why healing the liver is capital: healing the liver means less toxins floating, less toxins attaching to nerves, even the spinal fluid is full of toxins today, not to speak of the brain.
If you take chelators for heavy metals, and your liver is super dirty, sluggish, fatty, you won't even be able to detox these metals well.
You can have a fatty liver being extremely thin. Weight is not what matters. What matters is both what we eat (too much protein, too much fat) and toxins that clog the liver.
Brain fog = clogged liver
Lack of good blood circulation = clogged liver, bad diet
He offers many solutions, which are rather simple to apply (change of diet and a couple of supplements).
I'm taking more and more of his suggested supplements and foods, and one thing changed: my spider veins on hands disappeared almost completely (I had awful veins that scared children...).
And I don't even consider myself EHS anymore.
I'm really much less afraid of phones, even smart phones (not that I owe one), but I don't feel anymore the pain, panic attack, brain rape that I used to feel.
I keep forgetting my own small old model phone ON in my bag, I forget to turn off wifi in the night, my husband even does not turn off his smart phone in the house (before I would check all phones one by one before bed)...
I don't turn off the circuit breaker for a long time in the bedroom. I can sleep, dream...
If someone asks my sincere opinion what to do to several types of mystery illnesses, such as EHS, fibro, CFS etc I would tell them to read Liver Rescue and apply some of the ideas to clean the liver (nothing tragic, it's a mild approach).
I'm avoiding all types of protein, when I can.
Now I keep a NO EGG, no corn, no milk products (nothing, not even goat milk), no soya (not always as I like some Japanese food), no MSG, no gluten, low fat (I don't even add olive oil anymore), low protein (extremely low protein), low grains, zero added sugar (like beet sugar)...
But I eat TONS of sweet things like fruits, maple syrup, honey, stevia... Literally many types of fruits a day like pineapple, papaya, orange, apple, dates, raisins, pears, melons, water melons, mangoes, blueberries, cherries, pomelos, pommegranates, bananas... So I don^t crave sugars as I eat them... Natural sugars.
Then I eat a salad bowl a day. A big one, with many things inside (including fruits). Then I add a soup once a day, with squash and potatoes, sometimes organic brown rice too, with seaweed. It's a bit hard to eat so many fruits in the beginning, but I'm enjoying that, taste-wise.
This diet grounds me and I do think it's healing my CNS, my nerves.
