I have to say that I own a LED device (that does not heat, because it's LED) for about 10 years, and it uses mostly Near Infrared frequencies. It's called Photonic Energetics 1 (PE1).

In particular, 880 nm is said to be extremely beneficial.

My device that has Near Infrared frequencies (875nm 880nm, 940 nm) and visible infrared LEDs too (655nm, 680nm) is what helped me heal from lyme disease, after years fighting it with all sorts of means.

I can't use it as a sauna, as it does not heat, as I said. Only minimally.

It feels very nice, but I think it does that not exactly due to its wavelength, but mostly due to the 'blinking' frequencies. It blinks in different frequencies, from very slow to fast blinking.

I used these near infrared lamps before, for heating my back or any part of the body...

I'll try to use it again next time I do a foot bath and check how much dirt comes out in the water.

I know that my device PE1 makes me detox, because when I shine it on my feet during a very hot foot bath with salts, the water will be very dirty. Very. Much more than without it.

I'll try with the normal heating lamps as suggested in the websites above, just to see if the water gets muddy....

Thanks for telling us about this option!! Anyone theoretically could build a sauna easily then??
