That's how I found out about it too. Teflon is supposed to be pretty chemically inert at normal temperatures, but I'm not a chemist and can't personally vouch for that. It can release fluorine at higher temperatures (like in non-stick cooking pans),so that's where I would be most concerned about it.
I don't know but I'd rather be safe than sorry.. I just posted another thread about "Healing is voltage" that talks about how important teeth are to overall body health. It seems we'd want to protect the teeth very carefully for good health if what he says is true.
