Karl, it's my understanding with Colgate "Total" products that the Total means the product includes protection againt cavities (fluoride), gingivitis and plague (triclosan).  Do I have that wrong?

Mine are too, and I use Colgate Total floss. It's thinner than Glide, and it has less odor and flavor. I have a Waterpik that I use, but I think that the floss works better.

That's total in the toothpaste with tons of stuff to "treat" everything... the floss is just floss.
