The ones I use work on a area of the body about 3ft in diameter so I wear one around the chest and one in each pocket.

They do not mention Ion exchange yet claim to protect the body.

What I notice is both contain metals that would conduct electricity and in unusual designs. I suspect the designs are working on the harmonics of EMFs in the locality and they are following the energetic pattern from the design.

Should add in terms of protection it is relative and will give my brothers house as an example. He loves wi-fi and doesn't like wires.
