I seem to recall that some company in Europe recently advertised an EMF-free keyboard, but then someone on an ES Facebook group tried it, and it was intolerable to them.  So obviously the company's standards weren't as strict as ours.

But yes, the old ball mouse does get dirty and needs to be cleaned, but I see that as a minor issue, compared to the symptom-free usage.
