Ok so the tower shield works, it's not perfect  and if you have a huge tower it's not gonna vertically cover the entire way down but it at least helps enough to be able to use the thing a bit after tweaking it to make it put out as little power as it can resource wise. I was actually think of getting some of that shield for screens for under it and over the side panels because it's so good at what it does for my monitor. I also didn't realize how bad something like a mouse and keyboard could get until I happened to use the one it came with that's has all these lights on it and was a little bigger. Couldn't tolerate it, felt it all through my hand. Older parts are the way to go. But I have to say some LCD old PC flat screens are absolutely horrid. I have a smaller square Dell one in my closet though that's just fine. Actually thinking of going back to it because my monitor is a little too wide for me and even though it looks nice other the stretching can be a bit ridiculous.
